Hualalai Golf Course, The Island of Hawaii

I appreciate the relaxing appeal of a “toes in the sand” beach vacation, but,  I gravitate towards trips that balance down time with sightseeing, culture, food, history and golf.  I want my clients to experience all there is to know about their chosen destination.  I think this is why I enjoy the islands of Hawai’i.  There’s no end to the beautiful views, unique food, history and incredible golf courses.

Golf is my main travel focus.  I’ve been an avid golfer for 16 years and am intrigued by course design, the challenge of playing the game and I enjoy taking part in watching a pga tournament.  I’ve planned golf trips to Ireland, Scotland, Hawai’i, Mexico, Wisconsin and Arizona with a mix of playing and watching tournaments.  The next golf trip I have set up is to watch the Champions Tour at Hualalai on Hawaii, play 5 courses, stay at two luxury resorts and an excursion to the volcano.  Imagine watching some of the game’s best, then, playing the same course with it’s emerald green fairways wandering through ancient lava fields next to the clear blue pacific.  Accommodations at The Four Seasons and The Fairmont Orchid are true luxury.  And, cap it off with an excursion to see the lava of an active volcano.

I also thoroughly enjoy the courses of Ireland and Scotland.  I've gained much experience planning group trips to these iconic destinations and respect the natural, raw and historic character of their place in golf.

Other Golf destinations that don't disappoint are Arizona and Wisconsin.  Arizona is well known for golf and has many spotlights on it's courses.  The weather is another draw for winter golf.  

Wisconsin has been a hidden gem.  The number and quality of courses there continues to improve.  The state is now one of the most popular for golf focused trips.

The advantage that I give my clients is the extra comfort of knowing I have played the courses and stayed in the same accommodations that I recommend.  I expect everyone to have a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
