As a child, I immersed myself in books about fun adventures in foreign lands and I always dreamed on visiting those intriguing destinations. I loved biographies about interesting figures raised in different countries around the world and how their culture uniquely shaped them into who they would become. In my wildest dreams, I never imagined that my life and career would involve travel planning and seeing the places I had dreamed about growing up.

I was fortunate to have grandparents who loved to travel and always wanted to take me with them. They not only encouraged my love of reading but they were the catalyst to fueling my desire to travel. My earliest memories were of us taking many road trips to family destinations, roadside attractions or places off the beaten path. My most beloved vacation with them was on our first trip to Florida in 1984, not only to visit the beach, but to go to Walt Disney World. I was 10 years old and it was completely magical. I can still recognize that feeling of being in the “Most Magical Place on Earth” although it was so many years ago. Magic Kingdom was incredible and I fell in love with Epcot’s World Showcase which gave me a little taste of traveling “around the world”. That trip started my obsession with all things Disney and it's still going strong all these years later.

It was the passion I had for Walt Disney World that eventually led me into becoming a travel professional. My friends would always tell their family & friends to reach out to me when they had questions about traveling to Orlando because of the extensive knowledge I had of the parks. I spent many years giving advice and guiding families during their Walt Disney World vacation. The opportunity to become a travel consultant for real came about in 2016. I was hesitant at first, and although I was already successfully helping others with trip planning, I was unsure if it would become a long-term career. As soon as I made it official, I was amazed at the overwhelming support I received and that it still carries on today. I began with only planning Disney & Universal destinations but slowly grew my business into booking cruise and all-inclusive travel.

There are so many places on my bucket list left to see but my family loves America’s National Parks. Our favorite destination in the world is Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks in Montana & Wyoming. My favorite vacation was when I planned a road trip through Yellowstone, Grand Teton and the Badlands in South Dakota for my husband’s 50th birthday. We love the mountains and outdoors so this vacation was our perfect destination and a place that we will continually return. It amazed us to how vastly different the landscape was and how it was constantly changing along the way. There was a welcome surprise around every twist and turn of the road. It is truly the land that we sing about in “America, the Beautiful”. One goal were are working towards is to visit every National Park in the United States.

Sharing destinations and experiences of places I love is one of the many reasons that I became a travel professional. I love learning about new locations and planning the details of what a destination offers. I am so privileged to be trusted and to have a small part in many family’s vacation memories. Not only do I help plan the details to prepare a family for travel but I am also a resource for them throughout their vacation. They can always feel confident knowing that they have an advocate to stand with and to stand up for them any time they are in need while traveling. My goal is to be a trusted adviser and to help my guests create memories they will carry for a lifetime.
