More than Just a Safari

Africa is one of my favorite continents—and one of my favorite places in the entire world. There’s truly nothing like experiencing it in person; the vast landscapes, incredible wildlife, and rich cultures, are things you can’t fully understand until you’ve seen them with your own eyes. It’s a place that keeps calling me back, time and time again, and every trip offers something new to marvel at.

The thing we often forget when consider Africa, is how big it is. There are so many logistics involved, when you start to plan your safari. My job is to help you with all those logistics and make it as seamless and safe as possible. One country alone can have countless National Parks, each with its own unique terrain, wildlife, and experiences, let alone lodges. They are not all created equal, and it's very important to me, to recommend one that puts animals first. The guides should be super knowledgeable, most can almost communicate with the animals. They also know the important of respecting animals and putting everyone's safety first.

From the golden savannahs of the Serengeti, to the lush forests of Uganda, to the Okavango Delta in Botswana, to the deserts of Namibia, to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and Zambia, to the wine and coastal gems of South Africa, to Mt. Kili in Kenya, to the white sand beaches of Zanzibar or Mauritius (yes, Africa even has beautiful beaches). Africa truly has it all and is filled with adventures for every kind of traveler. Each country is special in its own way, which is why research and thoughtful planning are essential to make the most of your journey.

I also love helping travelers find the perfect safari lodge, because Africa is not an inexpensive place to visit—but there truly is a lodge to suit everyone. Whether it’s a luxury tented camp overlooking a watering hole or the Sand River, a private villa with your own guide and vehicle, or a more intimate lodge tucked into the bush, the right accommodations can make your safari experience unforgettable.
