Wonderful Itinerary

Just returned from 3 weeks with Viking magnificent Mekon River land/cruise. Teresa was attentive to all our planning details from air reservations, to vaccination advice, acquiring visas and what to expect with all the logistics of the trip. The Viking guide was Thurman was attentive to every detail and extremely knowledgeable. The hotel accommodations were 5 star and the Viking Saigon River boat is spacious, comfortable with 5 star staff. A seamlessly planned and executed memorable trip. Something different for us

The cruise was on Viking yet the ship is Chinese owned. This created many problems for us. On problem was that the ship used Chinese internet and my android phone was therefore useless. No text, email or browsing. Since this was our first Viking we were unaware of losing our expected transfer airport to cruise terminal. This led to some significant expense and difficulty.

Teresa understands how we like to travel and always gets us the best available accommodations. Our hotel for pre trip in Lisbon was very comfy and the staff was so welcoming. They called us by name from the moment we got out of the taxi. Our Oceania cruise was nice although we think there was alit of new staff and in training. And we think the food quality has diminished since we were on this ship two years ago. But we enjoyed the ports.

With Teresa's expertise we were able to seamlessly link an ocean voyage together with a river cruise with Amesterdam/Rotterdam as the points the two trips had in common. Great European River Cruise

A couple of recommendations that Teresa made were great!! Get near the middle of the ship (Viking River ship, we were the closest room to the center and all events, strm 301) and get a 3rd level (top) room. With all of the locks that you go through in 15 days (67 of them) the top floor has the best view and is blocked visually the least. Note: The Viking crew said that about 40% of their 15 day river cruises get bused around low water levels to another ship, so go when the water levels have highest chance of high. Wonderful Crew and fun ship. Limited activities on the ship including 5 straight days when "Sun Deck" (top) is closed due to low bridges.

Expert Advice for Our First World Cruise

Teresa is WONDERFUL! She remembers little details about our travel arrangements, wishes, etc. She was very helpful as we booked and planned for our first world cruise. We thought we would be booking an inside cabin as the most economical choice. Teresa helped us analyze all the early booking incentives, enabling us to book an outside cabin as the best deal. Later, she helped us upgrade to a balcony and her prompt service allowed us to snag an amazing location. We couldn't have booked and planned this trip without her!
