About Me

Morocco is a North African country known for its rich history, diverse culture, and stunning landscapes. Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, it features a mix of Arab, Berber, and European influences. From the bustling markets of Marrakech to the ancient city of Fez, the Sahara Desert, and the Atlas Mountains, Morocco offers a unique blend of tradition and modernity. Its vibrant cuisine, colorful architecture, and warm hospitality make it a popular destination for travelers.

The best time to visit Morocco is during spring (April–May) or fall (September–November) for mild weather and fewer crowds.

Here are the top 5 must-visit places in Morocco:

  • Marrakech – A vibrant city known for its historic medina, bustling souks, palaces, and the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square.
  • Fes – Home to one of the world’s oldest universities and a well-preserved medieval city, Fes is a cultural and spiritual hub with narrow winding alleys and traditional tanneries.
  • Chefchaouen – Nestled in the Rif Mountains, this picturesque town is famous for its striking blue-painted buildings and relaxed atmosphere.
  • Sahara Desert (Merzouga) – Offering unforgettable experiences like camel treks, sandboarding, and overnight stays in desert camps under the stars.
  • Atlas Mountains – Ideal for hiking and nature lovers, the Atlas range offers scenic valleys, Berber villages, and the chance to climb Mount Toubkal, North Africa’s highest peak.

Here are 10 top activities to enjoy in Morocco:

  • Camel Trekking in the Sahara – Ride camels through the vast sand dunes, experiencing the desert’s beauty and tranquility, especially at sunrise or sunset.
  • Visit the Medina of Marrakech – Explore the lively markets, narrow streets, and historic sites, including the Koutoubia Mosque and Bahia Palace.
  • Hike the Atlas Mountains – Trek through scenic valleys, visit traditional Berber villages, and challenge yourself with a hike to Mount Toubkal.
  • Explore the Blue City of Chefchaouen – Wander through the enchanting streets of this blue-painted town and enjoy its relaxed, artistic vibe.
  • Visit the Roman Ruins of Volubilis – Explore the ancient Roman city, with its well-preserved mosaics and columns set against a backdrop of rolling hills.
  • Relax in a Traditional Hammam – Experience a Moroccan spa treatment, complete with exfoliating scrubs and relaxing steam baths.
  • Take a Cooking Class – Learn how to make classic Moroccan dishes like tagine, couscous, and pastilla in an interactive cooking workshop.
  • Shop in the Souks – Bargain for handcrafted goods such as rugs, pottery, jewelry, and spices in the vibrant markets of cities like Marrakech and Fes.
  • Visit the Majorelle Garden in Marrakech – Stroll through this beautiful botanical garden, famous for its striking blue buildings and diverse plant life.
  • Surf in Taghazout – Head to the coast for some of the best surfing in Morocco, with warm waters and consistent waves along the Atlantic.

Another fabulous trip!

Rey has booked several domestic and international trips for me over the years. Each time the experience was fantastic. Rey is not only a knowledgeable and experienced travel agent, he is patient with groups and always provides stellar customer service. The resorts are always fabulous and his recommendations on what to do when we arrive at our destinations make my vacations more enjoyable. I’ve counted on Rey to book fabulous vacations for over 10 years and he always delivers the best. I’ve always enjoyed the individual attention and care Rey provides his clients. He understands the apprehension that comes along with trying new places and is thorough and accommodating as a result. He’s also great at making suggestions on future vacations and I’ve never been disappointed when I follow his suggestions. Rey will remain my travel confidante for many years to come. He’s the best, hands down!
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

The trip to Europe was awesome. All went well. I do need to give you feedback about the Eurostar ticket people what the reviews say is completely true. The man comes 15 minutes before you leave. We were there an hour before. But all was great!
