Traveling is Europe is complex, don't navigate it alone! There are a lot of considerations of how to get from place to place. Train, cruise, ferry, a quick flight, private driver or a self guided drive are all options. Timing and how long you stay and in what areas is the fine tuning I enjoy doing with my clients. Location and amenities of your hotel is also very important, I will discuss the type of hotel that meets your needs. It could be close to public transportation, have an amazing view or a suite to allow family members some divided sleeping areas.
