Specialist in group and luxury cruising
I’m Greta Smith, owner of Savvy Travel Design and a cruise travel advisor specializing in small-ship ocean, river, expedition, yacht, premium and luxury cruising.
With more than a decade of experience, I help travelers cut through the overwhelming number of ships, cruise lines and itineraries to find the experience that truly fits the way they want to travel. From European river cruises and intimate yacht voyages to bucket-list expeditions and luxury ocean journeys, my recommendations are personalized around each client’s priorities, travel style and budget.
I believe there is no single “best” cruise, there is a cruise that’s best for you. My job is to help you find it, then take the friction out of planning so you can experience more of the wonder.
A Lancaster County, Pennsylvania native, I’m based in Lancaster and work with cruise travelers throughout the United States.

Family Vacation
Greta was a pleasure to work with. Specifically, I found her to be...Professional, Responsive, Patient, Informative, Proactive, Personable, Thoughtful. She answered any question I had promptly and investigated those she wasn't certain of. I would highly recommend Greta for your travel needs.

Short Getaway
My wife and I were planning a short trip together and just didn't have time to sort through flights and destinations. Greta asked us for specific things we were looking for in our trip, and found us a couple options to choose from. Everything was booked and taken care of for us within a few days, now all that is left is to enjoy the trip! Thanks Greta!

Holiday Trip
We absolutely loved working with Savvy Travel Design. Greta was incredibly personable and professional. She went above and beyond to make a complicated, multi-generational impromptu vacation work. We contacted her just a few weeks before the busiest travel week of the year and she pulled together a wonderful trip for our extended family. We followed up with her for multiple last-minute requests - rental car options, airport transport, etc. - and she was super prompt and helpful throughout. We could not be more pleased and will definitely return for future assistance!

Ladies' Birthday Trip
Greta is nothing short of amazing. Her enthusiasm is what drew me to choose Savvy Travel Design for my travel needs. Greta is patient, very personable and most importantly, knowledgeable about all things travel. She responds quickly to e-mails, answers all questions to make you feel at ease. Not only was she considerate of my wants and needs, but she was able to put together a wonderful package for 4 women, all with different budgets. When we got ready to book, the airline system messed up pricing due to a few unforeseen glitches and Greta went to bat for us to ensure that we received the best price and happened to get it even lower than what we expected with better flights and options!! You will not be disappointed with Savvy Travel Design. You'd be cheating yourself if you went with any other travel agent. THANK YOU GRETA!!!!
