The Best Water Park in Orlando

The best water park in Orlando, is a Water Theme Park at Universal Orlando Resort.  This water park has a lot of great slides that are perfect for kids, teens, and adults.  

They have two rivers, a lazy river and a not so lazy river.  Both are filled with fun, whether your want to relax in a tube as you float around the lazy river, or go with the flow, the fast flow that is, wearing a life jacket in the not so lazy river.

One of the best parts about Volcano Bay is the Tapu Tapu.  This is a special wristband that you wear for the day and it allows you to reserve a time at the slides you want to ride, without having to wait in line and your Tapu Tapu will buzz and vibrate and let you know it is time to go for your slide.

You do need to be careful not to get too spoiled at Volcano Bay.  We have done a cabana 3 times and have gotten spoiled.  We like the ones that are away from the Volcano and the wave pool.  They are quieter.  

With a cabana, you get a basket or treats, a refrigerator full of water, a locker, and you do not need to rent towels, they are included.  There are reserved lounge chairs in the sun, chairs and a lounge bench in the cabana with curtains to close when that summer thunderstorm comes rolling through.

With a cabana, you can even make your Tapu Tapu reservations right from the cabana and you do not need to go to the slide to make the reservation.  You do get a cabana host who will go an get drinks and lunch for you during the day.  Be careful how much you get though as you do need to settle your tab at the end of the day.

Volcano Bay is included in the 3 park passes with Universal Orlando and is well worth the time and the money!
