Luxury Ski & Winter Adventure Travel Expert

Winter Above the Ordinary in Colorado

There is a particular kind of luxury found in the mountains. It is the exhilaration of untouched powder in the morning, followed by the warmth of an exceptional hotel at the end of the day. I design winter journeys for travelers who want both.Colorado is one of my favorite destinations for creating this balance. Aspen and Telluride offer distinctly different ways to experience the American West, with extraordinary skiing, sophisticated hospitality, dramatic landscapes, and access to adventures far beyond the traditional slopes.

In Aspen, I can design days around its four legendary mountains or take the experience beyond the lift lines with a snowcat expedition into ungroomed backcountry powder. The experience can include approximately 10,000 vertical feet of skiing across 1,500 acres of open bowls, meadows, and glades, with lunch inside a heated cabin in the Elk Mountains. winter-thrills-colorado

Telluride changes the rhythm. A horse drawn sleigh can carry you across Aldasoro Ranch before dinner at an authentic sheep camp. Another day might take you by snowmobile into Colorado's backcountry and an historic ghost town. For experienced skiers seeking something more exhilarating, the San Juan Mountains provide extraordinary terrain for helicopter assisted skiing, including high alpine bowls and summit descents.

I also believe the quieter moments matter. A guided snowshoe expedition through Telluride's wilderness provides an entirely different encounter with the mountains, moving through forested trails surrounded by the serenity of the snow covered San Juans.

Where my clients stay is equally considered. Hotel Jerome brings Aspen's history and luxury together with convenient access to its four mountains. In Telluride, Madeline Hotel & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection provides ski in, ski out access with the rugged Colorado backcountry beyond its doors.

My role is to choreograph these individual experiences into a journey that feels effortless, whether I am designing for a couple, family, private group, or travelers pursuing a serious winter adventure.
