If you're looking to slow down and enjoy some time by the water, Nantucket is a wonderful addition to your Massachusetts getaway. The ferry from Hyannis offers beautiful ocean views along the way and makes getting to the island part of the experience. Once you arrive, you can explore the charming island, relax by the water, or spend time at the near by Jetties Beach, where you can enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach, water activities, and time with the family.

And then there is Salem, especially perfect to travel during the fall and Halloween season! Salem comes alive with a unique atmosphere filled with history, spooky attractions, seasonal events, charming shops, and beautiful New England scenery. It is a destination that truly feels different during the Halloween season and can make for an unforgettable fall getaway. If you love the Halloween season and learning history this is the place to travel!
