A Caribbean destination I love returning to!  Convenient flights, great food, awesome beaches, friendly people and spectacular resorts make this one of my favorite getaways!

While relaxing on the beautiful beaches is the primary activity for visitors, there is a lot of more active pursuits if you're inclined!  Watersports include boating and jet ski, paddle board, snorkel, diving, kayaking and swimming with turtles or rays.  Land based activities include hiking, biking, ATV, foodie tours, zip line, beach buggies, rainforest, rum tours and pineapple farm visits.

You'll want to try some delicious food in Antigua!  Ducana is a sweet and tangy sweet potato dumpling that's wrapped in banana leaf and boiled.  The national dish of Antigua is Fungee, which is a cornmeal dish similar to Polenta.  Saltfish is cod from local waters, salt cured for 24 hours, then washed and boiled along with peppers, onions and spices.  Tamarind Balls are a traditional finger food made from the tamarind fruit along with brown sugar to form a snack sized ball.  You'll also want to try the sweet Black Pineapple!
