For our one year anniversary we wanted to get away but we aren't huge beach people so we reached out to Erin for ideas. We love tropical but not too hot and LOVE a good adventure. She got to work and started planning. We spent 9 days and 8 nights in Arenal, Costa Rica nestled in the rain forest and with an active daily erupting volcano. We were given a private cabin at the edge of a quaint and quiet property with a direct view of the Volcano. We sat on the patio each evening drinking our High Balls (local drink) and watching the sun set while the volcano was covered in glowing streaks of volcanic rock. We ate breakfast surrounding by local wildlife each morning, took a trip to the hot springs, the local town center and casino. We ate delicious local cuisine, imbibed and really enjoyed each other! The locals were amazing and we even walked away with a some additional understanding of the Spanish language. We will continue to lean on Erin for our next adventure! It did not disappoint.

Fell in love with Italy!

I reached out to Erin to help plan a trip to Italy for my wife. Italy has been on her bucket list forever and with kids, work and life, we just have been too busy. With only a week of time to get away, Erin was able to plan a trip that not only showed us why everyone loves Italy, but gave us an experience above all others and WILL have us booking a trip back but with more time. She was able to plan "skip the line tours" through all the hot spots, ie. Vatican City, The Coliseum, etc. but then had us hop on a "high speed train" to the southern coast where we experienced the Amalfi Coast, fresh lemoncello, amazing southern italian cuisine, coastal ferry rides and a relaxing trip back to Rome. Her first hand perspective of the city was unique and amazing! Looking forward to her next adventure for us!

Playa con dios!

WE HAD A BLAST! I reached out to Erin to help with a 40th celebration for my best friend. I knew we wanted Mexico but Erin helped me narrow down the best areas with the criteria I provided and we landed on Playa del Carmen. It was perfect. Our hotel was amazing, the little town shopping area was just down the block and the beach was perfect! (Full disclosure: we had so much fun at the hotel pool we didn't spend much time at the beach but it was perfect when we did.) She made our dinner reservations for each evening since there were 12 of us. The vibe of the hotel she chose was exactly what we hoped for and overall, we had a perfect celebration for an even more perfect friend. Thank you!

Irish Eyes are Smiling

My entire life I thought I was Scottish but recently my husband and I tried a DNA ancestry type test and I discovered I was Irish! We researched and found Erin's information. Given her name actually translates to Ireland, we thought she was the obvious choice. We weren't wrong. Erin created a "first timers" itinerary for us to include all the hot spots. She arranged several day trips to include Blarney Castle, the Cliffs of Moher and of course, experienced a football game at an Irish Pub complete with a pint of Guinness (or two.) We will certainly go back to explore more and will absolutely lean on Erin as our trusted travel advisor.

US Puerto Rico - Who knew?

My family procrastinated and we weren't able to receive our passports in time but still wanted to enjoy our annual summer vacation. Erin suggested Puerto Rico. We absolutely loved it! The town of San Juan was inviting, the locals were amazing and kind and the food was delicious! Plus, we were able to give back to a region still rebuilding. The walking food tour was FANTASTIC, just as she promised. We will be planning our next adventure with Erin.

Mexico All-inclusive Fun

I recently wanted a recommendation for a family-friendly resort for me, my husband and our 3 kids in Mexico that wouldn't break the bank. Erin had a great recommendation. We loved our trip to Cancun and would go back in a heartbeat. The all-inclusive resort Erin recommended meant we didn't have to spend a penny other than souvenirs and tipping for the great service we received. We ate and drank to our hearts content. The resort Erin recommended had excellent food, great activities for the kids, a kids club and so much more. We had a great time and stuck to our budget. Thanks Erin!

Celebrity Caribbean Cruise

I was recommended to Celebrity Cruises by Erin Medlin and couldn't be happier with our experience. My wife and I were interested in a Caribbean Cruise but we weren't sure which of the cruise lines was a good fit for us. We met with Erin and discussed what we were looking for. Based on our needs of being on a smaller ship, a more upmarket experience, our budget and our number of vacation days, Erin recommended Celebrity Cruises. She booked us in a balcony cabin and our trip included stops in Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and St. Martin. We added a food tour in Puerto Rico that was outstanding. We also did a day tour in St. Martin to the famous bar next to the airport where you can watch big jets come in for landing over the beach and a snorkeling tour from St. Thomas. We wouldn't have known to do any of this if not for Erin's help. She was so enthusiastic and fun to work with too!

Canada Ski Trip

My husband had a work trip in Quebec, Canada last December, but he had never been there before. We both enjoy skiing and we called Erin for some recommendations. She booked us at Mount Tremblant less than 2 hours from Quebec and we had an amazing time. Erin recommended some great restaurants in Quebec and excellent hotels in Quebec and Mount Tremblant. She set up our rental car and sourced all the information for ski rentals. We skied in and skied out right from our hotel and had a bucket list experience. Erin helped me book my trip to New York City and I'm so glad she did. While it's a US destination, I felt a little overwhelmed with the many hotel options in so many different areas of the city. Cape Town and Highlights of South Africa

I contacted Erin about an African safari and so glad I did. Safari planning can be overwhelming. There are so many options and so many countries that offer safaris. Plus there was so much conflicting info online about safety, best times of year and what regions offer what wildlife and highlights. After speaking with Erin, I felt much more comfortable. Erin was able to answer all my questions and consult on what I was looking for from my trip. We landed on a trip to South Africa where I could experience a safari at Kruger National Park, but also visit Cape Town and enjoy a food and wine experience. I'm glad she recommended Cape Town. It was the most beautiful city I've ever seen. Our visit to the Winelands was a culinary delight with wine pairings. The Cape Peninsula tour we did was the most spectacular sight seeing I've ever experienced and our ride up the cable car to the top of Table Mountain offered 360 degree views of the Cape Peninsula. Our safari in Kruger Park was a dream come true. Our lodge was absolutely exquisite and we saw the Big 5 on our game drives. Erin put together the perfect trip for our budget and vacation time. Costa Rica Dream Adventure

The first trip I ever planned abroad for my family of 5 was to Costa Rica with Erin Medlin. Erin was so knowledgeable about what families need and how to get the most value without breaking the bank. My husband and I always dreamed of taking my kids (8, 10 and 12) on a trip where they could see animals in the wild without going too far from home. We saw sloths, many different species of monkey, incredible birdlife including toucans and scarlet macaws. We did rainforest walks, ziplining, a snorkel tour, a canopy walk and visited Arenal volcano and hot springs. It was everything we could've asked for and the cost was quite reasonable. Erin helped relieve my anxiety about travelling abroad and everything went smoothly from start to finish. The greeters were there for us when we landed in Costa Rica and each segment of the trip went exactly according to plan. Erin knew what to tell me before I even had to ask. Greece was magnificent!

Erin Medlin really made our trip to Greece special. We called Erin during the initial planning phase because we were overwhelmed with all the travel arrangements required to experience Greece the right way. We knew we wanted to go to several islands but we weren't sure which ones. The trip was for me, my husband and our daughter. With Erin's help our itinerary included Athens, Paros, Santorini and Crete. We had personal recommendations from Erin about the best restaurants and wineries on Paros and Santorini. We toured the Acropolis in Athens and our hotel was perfectly located in the city center with a phenomenal rooftop view of the Acropolis. We also did an olive and wine tour with lunch on Crete and really loved all the highlights she planned in advance for us. We also loved all the hotels we stayed at. They all had amazing views, were really nice and centrally located for easy sightseeing. We loved working with Erin and will be calling her again soon for our next trip.

Italy Food & Wine Vacation

I recently returned from a trip to Rome, Amalfi and Tuscany where Erin planned our trip. This was a dream trip for me and my husband now that we are empty nesters. I told Erin I was looking for a little history, great food and wine and sightseeing. Erin put together the most amazing 3 week bucket list trip for us. She had great restaurant recommendations, the best advice on wine regions and skip the line day tours set up for us to the Vatican and the Roman Colosseum.
