My travels began in my twenties with my Mom and sister. I was never really exposed to many places outside of where I was raised prior to our "Mommy and Daughters Adventures". All of our travels each year were very special and priceless memories. Our first major trip was a cruise and I became an immediate cruiser for life. I also enjoy road trips and destination travel, but cruises are most relaxing for me. I'm also a fan of cruising with family and friend groups. If you can manage to get a group together on a ship, you're guaranteed a memorable experience.

When I got married, I learned my husband had limited travel experience under his belt. We took our first cruise together, and he also became a cruiser. This gave me a renewed love for cruising as a married couple enjoying experiences with my husband through his eyes. He doesn't love cruising as much as I do but he loves every experience exploring ports of call. He is more of a road trip guy, so we sprinkle in road trips around cruising. With our combined desire to travel, whether cruising or on a road trip, it was enough for me to explore starting my own travel agency.

Sharing my love for cruises combined with my travel planning organization drove my ambition to start UZSUM Travel. I've been a single, family, married and group cruiser, giving me experiences to cater to each type of traveler. I have my day-to-day profession as a software engineer, but my love of travel is how I know everyone can UZSUM Travel!
