When a couple came to me dreaming of the ultimate romantic getaway with a milestone birthday to celebrate, I designed a 10-night journey combining two of Fiji's most exclusive resorts. Starting with six nights at the ultra-private Tadrai Island Resort (just five villas on the entire island), followed by four nights at Likuliku Lagoon Resort in their iconic overwater bures. This trip showcased two completely different island experiences connected by a scenic catamaran transfer. Every detail was coordinated, from birthday celebrations to scuba excursions.

Arrival in Fiji & Transfer to Tadrai Island
After arriving in Nadi, a private speedboat whisked my clients across crystal-clear waters to Tadrai Island Resort, an adults-only hideaway with just five villas. Their overwater bungalow featured a private plunge pool overlooking the reef. Welcome cocktails, a traditional Fijian greeting, and their first stunning Pacific sunset.

Milestone Birthday Celebration at Tadrai
The Tadrai staff coordinated a surprise birthday setup with a private beachfront dinner, custom cake, and Fijian musicians. With only five villas on the island, the celebration felt completely private and personal. The resort went above and beyond, decorating the villa and arranging champagne at sunset.

Overwater Bure Experience at Likuliku
