About Me

Family Vacation Specialist

Oahu, Hawaii
Oahu, Hawaii

I fell in love with traveling after enlisting in the United States Air Force. For 20-years, I traveled the world – England, Germany, South Korea, and multiple locations in the United States. As a retiree, I want to introduce others to the joys of travel and experiences of life lived beyond comfort zones.

I love helping people turn travel into meaningful connection. As a travel adviser, I create experiences that bring families closer, give friends a reason to celebrate, and help travelers make memories they’ll talk about for years.

I work with busy families (Veterans, Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve families included) who want stress-free vacations filled with unforgettable experiences. I specialize in family-friendly travel throughout the United States and Canada.

To build your ideal vacation, I take the time to understand each traveler’s style, interests, and preferences. From there, I tailor every detail to create a seamless, personalized experience from start to finish.

For me, travel is about more than the destination— it’s about the people you share it with, the connections you strengthen, and the new perspectives you bring home.

Q & A

Q: Do you plan family-friendly trips?

A: Yes. I create custom itineraries for families, including kid-friendly activities, comfortable accommodations, and options for four-legged family members. Traveling solo? I can help with that, too.

Q: You specialize in domestic travel. Can you create international itineraries?

A: Yes. While I specialize in travel within the United States and Canada, I can also help plan international itineraries, cruises, and memorable adventures around the world.

2026 Road Trip #2: The Biltmore to fulfil a Bucket List Item I have just recently moved to Iowa. I was basically born and raised in Iowa, so I cam back "home". This move allows me to be closer to family from which I have been separated from due to my 20+years in the United States Air Force. My oldest sister has been wanting to take...

2026 Road Trip #4: Ohiopyle State Park, Pennsylvania Taking "Dora" the RV out on a road trip is always such an easy way to travel. We never have to stop for potty breaks, we can stock the fridge and cabinets with food, and we can bring the 2 dogs without worrying about finding a hotel.  National Parks have always been destinations ...

2026 Road Trip #3: The "Driftless" and Pike's Peak State Park In April I read a little travel piece on an area called "the Driftless" in Iowa. The Driftless is an area in the northeast corner of Iowa that was completely untouched by the last glaciers in the Ice Age. The area is composed of limestone bluffs, deep river valleys, and cold-wa...

2026 Road Trip #5: Painted Rock National Shoreline, Munising, Michigan As those who absolutely love a good road trip, my husband and I decided to drive roughly 555 miles to the Upper Peninsula to the Painted Rock National Shoreline. This was a birthday trip for my husband. He wanted to do the Chapel/Mosquito Falls Hike, which is a 10-mile...
