Travel has always been woven into the fabric of my life. Over the past 55 years, I’ve explored countless destinations, sailed on some incredible cruises, and created memories around the world with family and friends. Those experiences, especially my love for cruising and discovering new ports, sparked a passion that I’m now turning into a new chapter as a travel professional. While I’m just beginning my journey as a travel agent, my decades of personal travel experience are what inspired me to help others do the same: travel more confidently, comfortably, and meaningfully.I’m building my travel business with the people who already know and trust me, my family, friends, and social circles. My approach isn’t about hard sales or flashy promotions; it’s about genuine connection and service. I want to make trip planning easier, stress-free, and exciting for people who might otherwise feel overwhelmed by the details. My goal is to become their go-to travel resource, not just for bookings, but for advice, ideas, and inspiration.As I grow, word-of-mouth will be a key part of my business. When clients have a wonderful experience, I’ll encourage them to share their stories and refer others within their networks. I believe the best way to build trust is organically, through authentic relationships and exceptional service that people naturally want to talk about.On social media, I plan to share my passion consistently and authentically. You’ll find me posting travel tips, destination highlights, cruise experiences, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of my own journeys. My goal is to create content that educates, entertains, and inspires others to explore the world, while reminding them that I can help turn those travel dreams into reality. I’ll also focus on engagement,responding to comments, answering questions, and building a community of travelers who see me as a trusted, relatable resource.This career path feels like a natural and exciting fit, especially as I enter a new stage of life. With my 16-year-old twins preparing to graduate in 2027, my husband and I are looking forward to expanding the way we travel as a family, exploring more destinations and new kinds of experiences together. I make it a priority to respond within a few hours whenever possible, and never later than 24 hours under normal circumstances. Even when I don’t have every answer immediately, I’ll always acknowledge messages so my clients know they’re being cared for. I also adapt to each person’s preferred style, email for detailed communication, text messages or calls for quick and personal connection, so the entire process feels easy and convenient.
