About Me

Northern Lights in Iceland
Northern Lights in Iceland

I am honored to represent Iceland as a travel agent professional. Iceland is one of the world’s most awe-inspiring destinations—a land of fire and ice, where nature’s raw beauty takes center stage. With its dramatic volcanic landscapes, cascading waterfalls, bubbling hot springs, and ethereal northern lights, Iceland offers an unforgettable experience for travelers who seek both adventure and tranquility. Words nor pictures compare to Iceland’s awe inspiring beauty.

Most journeys begin in Reykjavík, the world’s northernmost capital, known for its colorful buildings, vibrant arts scene, and warm hospitality. Though small, Reykjavík offers world-class cuisine, cutting-edge design, and a buzzing nightlife. Just a short walk from downtown is Hallgrímskirkja, the iconic church offering panoramic views of the city. Nearby, the Sun Voyager sculpture and Harpa Concert Hall add to the city's unique charm.

From Reykjavík, visitors often take the famous Golden Circle route, which includes some of Iceland’s most spectacular sights. Þingvellir (Thingvellir) National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet, creating a rugged and dramatic rift valley. Geysir, the namesake of all geysers, erupts with steaming water and power, while the mighty Gullfoss waterfall thunders into a canyon below—each stop revealing the earth's dynamic energy.

The South Coast is home to some of Iceland’s most iconic natural wonders. The waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, the black sand beaches of Reynisfjara near Vik, and the glacier-capped volcano Eyjafjallajökull offer dramatic scenery at every turn. Visitors can even explore ice caves beneath Vatnajökull, Europe’s largest glacier, or sail among icebergs in the serene Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.

To the north, Akureyri—often called the "Capital of the North"—provides access to the Lake Mývatn region, a geothermal wonderland filled with lava formations, steaming fumaroles, and mineral-rich hot springs. Whale watching in the nearby coastal town of Húsavík is a bucket-list experience, offering close encounters with humpbacks and other majestic marine life.

Iceland’s remote Westfjords offer breathtaking cliffs, untouched wilderness, and puffin colonies, while the Snæfellsnes Peninsula is often described as “Iceland in Miniature” for its mix of glaciers, volcanoes, beaches, and fishing villages. The Westman Islands and Highlands are even more off the beaten path, perfect for those seeking unique and rugged adventures.

One of Iceland’s most famous and rejuvenating experiences is a visit to the Blue Lagoon, a geothermal spa located in a lava field near the airport. For those wanting something more remote, there are countless hidden hot springs and natural pools tucked into the landscape, offering peace and serenity under open skies.

In winter, the northern lights dance across the sky, painting the darkness with green, purple, and blue hues. In summer, the midnight sun offers endless daylight, giving travelers the chance to explore long into the evening. Iceland’s ever-changing seasons make it a year-round destination with entirely different, equally magical experiences.

Icelandic culture is steeped in folklore, sagas, and a deep respect for the land. From horseback riding on sturdy Icelandic horses to exploring Viking history in ancient settlements, there are countless ways to connect with the soul of the country. The food scene is also thriving, with everything from geothermal-baked rye bread to fresh Arctic char and lamb raised on wild herbs.

Whether you're looking to hike across glaciers, soak in thermal lagoons, chase waterfalls, or simply disconnect in the wild serenity of nature, I will design an itinerary tailored to your pace and passions. Let me handle the logistics so you can fully experience the magic that Iceland has to offer. Contact me today and let’s plan a journey to the land where nature writes the itinerary.
