Loraine was the best travel agent I could have ever asked for! When my cousin recommended getting an agent for an anniversary trip I wanted to plan, I thought why. But let me tell you it was the best decision I could have made for the trip. Loraine was incredibly successful in finding the most interesting activities and excursions that fit me and my husband perfectly. She found the most beautiful and stunning hotels I have ever stayed at in my life!!! She gave me many options to choose from and I was very pleased with how the trip ended up. I was able to let go of that stress and focus on work until my vacation came along. She also helped us out a ton during the trip because in a foreign place we constantly had questions about how to get around, where to buy certain things, or even technical details about the hotels and booked classes or excursions. At some places she was able to pull some strings and decorate hotel rooms for us or get us complimentary goodies from cruises. I still remember this lovely country side cottage styled house that made the best sunny side up eggs ever. I still daydream about the smell of that olive oil on the egg. I have gone on many trips with Loraine, and I can confidently say that these trips have changed my way of traveling. Going to another country is great but sometimes we don’t know how anything works. I remember in 2021 I booked a birthday trip to Italy with Loraine and on our flight back home, the entire Italian airport flight traffic controllers went on strike. It was very scary since no one, even the paid professionals of the airport, knew what to do. Hundreds, yes hundreds, of flights were canceled and the only instruction given was to wait. They then came up with a plan to bring buses and shuttle people to different hotels. Did they consider the mass panic? No. Everyone pushed each other to get on the buses and we had to wait an hour until we were able to get on one. Only because we had to also push in. This wasn’t the worst part. The event that made me thank God I booked with Loraine was the next morning when we were promised that we would be picked up by a shuttle to take us to the airport. Mind you the hotel they took us to was 1 hour away. No one answered the phone, not the airport not the hotels, no one. Except Loraine. She was able to contact the representative at the airport for our airline that morning and discuss the issue with them and they sent a car for us. We were able to get on our flight and go back home. They even comped us a free hotel night for our layover in Canada. This experience was one of many that I am grateful for the work she puts in. You never think about these things until they happen, so make sure you have someone who can help! Thank you Loraine!
