About Me

Across the Bahamas
Across the Bahamas

The Bahamas is a popular cruise destination because if how close it is to the United states and is simply beautiful to see. Many cruise lines offer short and long cruises to the islands.  Some cruises are are romantic, family oriented, Las Vegas styled with intense entertainment and casinos.

The magic begins with World Carribean Cruise( Nassau & Cococay) The cruise duration is for 3 days and 2 nights on the ship. Opting for a longer cruise is possible. It all depends on what you want.

On the ship, I ate at the Windjammer which is the main buffet on the ship then I waited until the rooms opened up so I could take my luggage to the cabin. The buffet was spectacular. The buffet had a variety of pastries and delicious seafood.

I had an ocean view room. You have Sea pass cards that are linked to the credit card you put on file. You can use these cards to purchase things on the ship and at cococay. It's also how the ship keeps track of it's passengers by scanning these cards when people go on & off the ship. You can pick up drink packages and wifi Packages and they provide you with cups with your drink package. There's an amazing Tex Mex place on board, the tacos is something I'd recommend you try! A pool to enjoy, there's an Adventure Ocean Escape Room, Music Halls, Sprinkles Ice Cream, a Whirlpool Spa, Zip lining, a Playscape, Wipe-out Bar, Giovanni's Italian Kitchen they have amazing pastas, I recommend you give them a try. There's a Sea Spa & Fitness Center, Photo Gallery  & much more. There's even water slides to explore.

If you want to see some of their entertainment you can reserve your seats of the show times on the Royal Carribean Wonders of The Sea App. The Milkshakes at Johnny Rockets are a must try. The Intense Maximum Performance was something I really enjoyed seeing.

There's a night club on board for people to try as well. Eat before you leave the ship this cruise decided to do Cococay first and then Nassau last when it's typically the other way around on most ships.

Cococay has different Beaches & games to play Volleyball, board games, ping pong, diving, Zip lining, wave pool, you can go up in the big balloon etc. Some of these activities are free while others may cost depending on your packages.

There's lockers that are free to use first come first serve around the island & mainly near the attractions, and there's a tram that takes people around the island if they don't want to walk. There's a wave pool & an adult only section called Tideway beach & it costs to enter.

There's the Snack Shack & Chill Grill which are options on the island for food while you are there. The Fries are amazing!

You can continue to explore the ship. Enjoy the hot tub & see some adult comedy & other activities the ship offers.

Then Nassu is on the island of New Providence & it's the Capitol of Bahamas.  I ate breakfast & went down the new port area. Nassu cruise port is one of the busiest cruise ports in the world.

Around the port there is Atlantis Paradise Island that's a massive water park & Baha Mar has more of the resort like feel and there's the beach. Most people like to stay close to the port where there's food, hair braiding & keepsake shopping. If you want to venture out & have the time to do so there's places on the west side of the Island to see like the Clifton National Heritage Park & the Islands Caves. Yet, again some stay near the port.

U.S dollars is accepted in Nassu. There's shuttles that you can take to help you get what you need. Taxis accept cash only.

You can venture out if you have the time, take a tour from a vetted tour guide.

Queens Staircase is simply beautiful historical landmark. There are 66 steps from solid limestone that create a direct path to Fort Fincastle, named in honor of Queen Victoria for her role in abolishing slavery, and it offers a short cut to Bennets Hill. The Queens Staircase also provides panoramic views of the land.

Bennets Hill is  the city's highest natural point and is close to the 126 foot water tower.

You can go to the straw market buy items and negotiate prices of the items that you'd want to purchase.

Then head to Junkanoo Beach and they have a free section of the beach which you can enjoy if you choose & then head back on the ship. Junakanoo has a museum. There's an ampitheater, a tiny boardwalk, & rest room areas.

There is tons of things to do on the ship & on the islands. There is a whole lot of fun weather it's solo, as a family, or as a party. Cruises are fun & amazing, and there's cruises for every budget. I had a blast on this cruise, and I know that you will have a blast on your next cruise.

The Great Barrier Reef is Amazing!
Reviewed By Aaron545 - Texas | Traveled to Australia | Australia & New Zealand
My cousins and I took a Family Trip to Carins Austraillia and we had so much fun. Fun doesn't begin to describe it. We rode in a helicopter and saw the views and saw the land from above which was spectacular. We scuba dived and saw the marine life in the Austrailia waters. On the land we rode the Ferris Wheels and met locals around the area. It was an amazing bonding expierence. Krystal told us to check out Carins Markets and we went to local fairs that had works of art and souvineers to remember our travels. We had an amazing adventure and Krystal was so professional. She is our chosen advisor for life!

Krystal made my trip effortless. She put me in a Hotel with a Casino and me and a few buds booked our travel through her and she is fantastic. We gambled. I got back more than I put in. We went on rides at the top of the Strat, ate good food. Met some cool people and Krystal arranged for a personal welcome at the Hotel and she was just wonderful to work with. She is an amazing advisor!

Navigating The Big Apple, New York City
Krystal has been an excellent Travel Advisor,& she will advise all the trips I go on from here on out. I decided to drive to NYC on a whim & it was the most cost efficient way to get there, so I rented a car from Enterprise. Once I got there I checked into my Hotel, and stayed in The Marriott Marquis. A modern hotel in Broadway, New York I had a clean and cozy room that had breathtaking views of the city surrounding the hotel. At Krystal's recommendation I went to Summit One Vanderbilt, its an amazing observation deck, and has a stunning view of the city, the Empire Sate Building is in site and is an excellent place to get on the platform & get some photos. I ate at Los Tacos No. 1 in Chelsea Market and I can't forget the Taco's that Krystal suggested, and walking the High Line and The American Museum of National History was spectacular. She pointed out shopping areas and places like walking through China Town, and seeing the Statue of Liberty. It's something you must see. I had fun!
