They say Nashville is a city built on stories, hospitality and wonderful people. I adore Nashville. It's a New York of sorts for the Country Music Fans, and a fun place to visit.
Grand Ole Opry is a country music concert arena, it's on the outskirts of Nashville. You can expect shows on Friday and Saturday nights and on peak seasons you can expect shows on Tuesday and Wednesday's.
Close by is Gaylord Opryland Resort and convention center, it's a preimum hotel and part of the Mariott Bonvoy chain, with over 3,000 rooms and its an indoor atrium garden with entertainment with dining, restaurants like the Ole Hickory Steakhouse.
Hop on Hop off Tours they have a trolley for old town tours there is Broadway, which a lot of these tours include this area, There are Pubs and the Music City Showcase, and some amazing restaurants and you'll even see amazing big names in this area like Jason Aldean and Kid Rock.
The buzz in this area is infectous. If you want to go to a fun and popular country bar try Friends in Low Places. I love it there. They have live music and even play the iconic country song it's named after.
Nudies Honkey Tonk Bar is another great spot. They even play a little of everything. I've heard them do Paramore and all different types of music.
There's Luke Bryan and they play some country music live.
There's Bon Jovi Bar. They have live music, a rooftop bar on the 5th floor & a Mechanical Bull on the 2nd floor, & even a tattoo parlor on the 3rd floor.
The Vanderbilt University that as incredible architecture you can walk around freely and enjoy it.
If you are a fan of Batman you can see the Batman AT&T Building. The architecture is stunning.
There's Jacks Bar-b-Que, I highly recommend trying their bar-b-que, it's delicious you must try some. I loved it. Food is one of the many reasons why I travel. Martin's BBQ is another wonderful BBQ spot please get there Ribs. From both places they have unique flavored ribs that are to die for.
Jason Aldeans Kitchen + Rooftop Bar is a great vibe. Please check it out, friendly atmosphere, and excellent beers.
Ryman Auditorium is an historic and iconic music known as a church of sorts for country music. They have a gift shop and you can take a tour or see some shows here.
Parthenon is a replica of the Parthenon in Greece. It holds a statue of Athena inside and is free to see.
Nashville Tractor is a fun way to get around these tours are great for Bachelorette parties or tight knit groups that want to see the sights.
Fort Nashborough is a stockade and not a military garrison and it's become the captiol of Tennessee, Nashville.
John Seigenthaler Bridge you can walk across the river and see the amazing views and once you cross the bridge you can see the Tennessee Titans Stadium.
Country Music Hall of Fame is a must visit. Learning about Country music and it's highlights are truly fascinating. I loved this part of the trip.
Music City Center is a convention center right next to the Hall of Fame, and it has a balllroom meeting room, meetting room, and much to see, & the whole building was inspired by music. From the way it looks to the brassy rooftop terrace.
Walk of Fame you can see the names of all the legendary artists like Johnny Cash and Reba Macintire. Sort of like the Hollywood Stars.
Nashville Arcade just outside the downtown area not far from Broadway, it's a mall like area good for food & shopping & a bit of fun.
Tennessee Titans Stadium is a fantastic place to support the titans and watch them play some football.
Nashville Auditorium is where you can go to take in an outdoor concert.
Musicians Hall of Fame focuses on all musicians and is a great place to visit.
Pidgeon Forge around Gatlinburg approximately 3 hours away from Nashville, this is a touristy place and is beautiful all year round. You can explore the amazing mountains.
Schmerhorn a symphony hall it's beautiful and a place that has fantastic architecture and provides sweet sweet music.
Tennessee State Capitol is a big stately building and worth the visit.
Bicentennial Park is on beautifully well maintained lawns, perfect for walks and a family picnic. It's simply gorgeous.
Belmont Mansion a historic & beautiful mansion, that deserves to be seen.
The Nashville Zoo is the ninth largest zoo in the U.S. They have a variety of animals from Rhinos to Bears to Lions.
Bridgestone Arena is home to the Nashville hockey team or if you want to see a concert you can do it all at the Bridgestone Arena.
Marathon Village is now a shopping mall, and is filled with pieces of history, and musicians come to play here.
Whiskey Tastings you can do a tour and try some of the most famous whiskey.
Tennessee Taffy has amazing candies and pastries and Peanut Brittle.
Nashville is beautiful, hospitable and amazing. I enjoy going back time & time again.
