About Me

The City of Austin, Texas
The City of Austin, Texas

The locals are hospitable and kind, and the food is simply delicious. Texas is a place for family's and it carries it's own charm. Texas is a land of incredible contrasts, and no trip is complete without venturing into the high-altitude ruggedness of the west. Here is an updated version of your vacation bio that weaves in the majestic peaks and desert vistas of the Texas mountains.

Texas is a wonderful place to visit, and Austin is known as the live music capital of the world. They have hot summers and mild winters. August is usually the hottest time of the year to visit. Spring & Fall would be ideal because it's the coolest time of the year for the diverse state of Texas.

Texas Sate Capitol: It's the second largest capital building next to the state capitol in DC. It's visable from all over. The architecture is stunning and it's free to view.

Lady Bird Lake: A scenic resivour in the heart of Austin, Texas. It stretches for 416 acers. Hiking & Biking & even paddle boarding around & along Lady Bird Lake are popular ways to enjoy the stunning surroundings of Austin.

Barton Springs: A man made outdoor swimming  pool located in Silver Park. It maintains a temperature of 68 degrees ferinheight and stretches out for three acres. The water comes from underground springs. It's also home to the Endangered Barton Spring Salamander and its a federally protected habitat. There is a fee for non-residents to enjoy the pool.

Congress Bridge Bats: From March until late October People line up across the Congress Avenue Bridge to catch a glimpse of the famous Austin Bats, over a million Bats migrate each year. They have a boat that goes out on the water during sunset to get a closer and more personal view of the bats migration.

Live Music: Its the live music capitol of the world with over 200 venues, Sixth Street is the most popular spot for music but, music is so widely loved that you can find it all over the city. Austin even hosts several large music festivals such as South by Southwest and Austin City Limits. Austin is a major music city.

Texas State of Mind: From Hill Country to High Peaks, for me, a vacation is about the feeling of wide-open spaces and the smell of mesquite in the air. I’m a traveler who believes that the best way to discover Texas is one step at a time, wandering through historic squares and finding the hidden stories tucked away in every corner.

The Heart of My Journey

Mountain Majesty: I find my peace in the high desert of West Texas. Whether it’s watching the sun dip behind the Chisos Mountains or hiking the trails of Guadalupe Mountains National Park, there is something humbling about standing at the "Top of Texas." The crisp mountain air and the ancient rock formations are the ultimate escape

The Great Outdoors: Give me a morning hike through limestone canyons or a sunset walk along a historic riverfront. I prefer to skip the fast-paced transport and take my time exploring the scenery on foot to truly appreciate the landscape.

Inclusive Adventures: I believe a great vacation should be comfortable for everyone, including our four-legged family members. You’ll usually find me scouting out the best pet-friendly patios and scenic trails where the whole family can relax together.

Culinary Experience : I’m always on the hunt for the perfect plate, whether it’s a slow-cooked authentic brisket from a local smokehouse, a stack of handmade tortillas, or a slice of warm apple pie.

Frankilin BBQ is one of the city of Austin's popular BBQ spots. People wait in line just to taste the deliciousness that Franklin BBQ has to offer.

Brisket Tacos at Valentinas Tex Mex BBQ is to die for, you cannot leave Texas without trying their BBQ, it's simply delicious & to die for.

The Food Truck scene has exploded in Texas. Gordo's Fat Donut has delicious and big donuts.

Leroy and Lewis has incredible BBQ that you just got to try for yourself. The food speaks for itself. Tangy, Juicy, and amazing.

There are Breweries for the beer lovers to try. There are beer gardens to explore & you can sit outside and enjoy a nice brew. The Austin Beer Garden and Brewing Company is an amazing spot to check out.

Wine: 2 hours east of Austin is fredericksberg, which is wine country. You can come to enjoy a wine tasting & eat delicious meals here. If you plan on attending a tasting you should seek your hotel in this area or seek a tour that provides transportation.

Zilker Park : A big park to check out. Not far from Lady Bird Lake.

My Vacation Must-Haves

In High Desert  at sunset and at night, stargazingLooking up at the darkest skies in the lower 48 near Marfa or Fort Davis.

Small-Town CharmExploring the boutiques and art galleries in the shade of the Hill Country.

Natural WondersCooling off in the spring-fed waters of Balmorhea at the foot of the mountains."There’s a freedom in Texas that you can’t find anywhere else, from the deepest canyons to the highest peaks. It’s a place where you can be yourself, eat well, and find beauty in the simplest sunset."

The Great Barrier Reef is Amazing!
Reviewed By Aaron545 - Texas | Traveled to Australia | Australia & New Zealand
My cousins and I took a Family Trip to Carins Austraillia and we had so much fun. Fun doesn't begin to describe it. We rode in a helicopter and saw the views and saw the land from above which was spectacular. We scuba dived and saw the marine life in the Austrailia waters. On the land we rode the Ferris Wheels and met locals around the area. It was an amazing bonding expierence. Krystal told us to check out Carins Markets and we went to local fairs that had works of art and souvineers to remember our travels. We had an amazing adventure and Krystal was so professional. She is our chosen advisor for life!

Krystal made my trip effortless. She put me in a Hotel with a Casino and me and a few buds booked our travel through her and she is fantastic. We gambled. I got back more than I put in. We went on rides at the top of the Strat, ate good food. Met some cool people and Krystal arranged for a personal welcome at the Hotel and she was just wonderful to work with. She is an amazing advisor!

Navigating The Big Apple, New York City
Krystal has been an excellent Travel Advisor,& she will advise all the trips I go on from here on out. I decided to drive to NYC on a whim & it was the most cost efficient way to get there, so I rented a car from Enterprise. Once I got there I checked into my Hotel, and stayed in The Marriott Marquis. A modern hotel in Broadway, New York I had a clean and cozy room that had breathtaking views of the city surrounding the hotel. At Krystal's recommendation I went to Summit One Vanderbilt, its an amazing observation deck, and has a stunning view of the city, the Empire Sate Building is in site and is an excellent place to get on the platform & get some photos. I ate at Los Tacos No. 1 in Chelsea Market and I can't forget the Taco's that Krystal suggested, and walking the High Line and The American Museum of National History was spectacular. She pointed out shopping areas and places like walking through China Town, and seeing the Statue of Liberty. It's something you must see. I had fun!
