I visited Seattle a few times.
Seattle, Washington; whether you are looking for an outdoor adventure, world-class museums visits, historic neighborhoods, or an unparalleled coffee culture, the Emerald City delivers an great experience. It is a destination where you can hike through old-growth forests in the morning and attend a world-class opera or dine at a James Beard Award-winning restaurant by night
Also great hotels hotels for any preference not far from the center.
Pike Place Market is Seattle’s historic, 9-acre public farmers' market overlooking the Puget Sound. Located in downtown Seattle, it is the oldest continuously operating public farmers' market in the United States (established in 1907) and is known as the "soul of the city" fresh seafood flying at the fish market, artisan crafts, and local eateries.
For the coffee loves, you need to know that the very first Starbucks opened in March 1971 in Seattle’s in the historic Pike Place Market. I always take groups to learn about coffee history, production, and roasting techniques, and of course taste a few samples.
Nothing better that having a drink or a coffee in the Revolving Bar in the Space Needle, definitely something to remember.
The Space Needle is an iconic 605-foot-tall observation tower in the Seattle Center. Built as the architectural centerpiece for the 1962 World's Fair to symbolize humanity's Space Age aspirations, it remains the defining landmark of the Pacific Northwest skyline.
At the base we have the Chihuly Garden and Glass. The Garden is a beautifully landscaped outdoor urban garden space. The lush backdrop of colorful trees, plants, and flowers is purposely designed to intertwine and complement the majestic glass sculptures.
China Town is a vibrant multi-ethnic hub downtown. Unlike traditional single-culture Chinatowns, Seattle's is unique because it blends three distinct neighborhoods: Chinatown, Japan town (Nihonmachi), and Little Saigon.
Central Waterfront: Bustling shoreline strip home to the giant Seattle Great Wheel, the Seattle Aquarium, and daily Washington State Ferries departing across the Puget Sound.
Seattle Art Museum (SAM): Premier global art hub showcasing extensive Native American collections and modern installations.
Whale Watching tours depart directly from downtown, often you get to see orcas.
The Boeing factory features the world’s largest building by volume., offering an 80-minute guided excursion to view the assembly lines of Boeing's widebody aircraft, impressive, you must not miss it.
Lots to see and enjoy in Seattle that I will help you discover as a Travel Advisor, making sure my clients have an unforgettable time in Seattle!
