I am from Spain, Barcelona city. As a child I sent my summers with my family in Costa Brava in a village by the sea eating something delicious, paella or seafood.
The first foreign language I studied in school was French, but soon I studied English and when I was 16 a school interchange I was in England for two months and visited London, at that tine I knew I had a passion for traveling and new languages.
I have always worked in the cruise industry and travel world. My fist job was as in a travel agency having all cruise lines as clients. Our team at the port was ready for embarkation, bus transfers, to the airport excursions, transfers for hotels and start again with embarkation. Team at the airport ready and team at the hotels.
My weekend trips were mostly to England, France, Portugal, Italy, The Netherlands, Monaco, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Greece.
During the summer I spent many hours at the port as a Manager making sure everything was running smoothly and soon a Royal Caribbean offered me a job to work at the Guest Relations Desk on board of a ship out of Miami.
During that time I visited all Caribbean islands and Key West; Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Cozumel and Aruba and some Mexican ports.
I was on board of ships for five years until decided to live in Miami. I worked for Royal Caribbean, Celebrity y and Azamara's Private Journeys worldwide, Private Shore Excursions in any port that guests my request.
After that Intercruises hired me, Americas Shore Excursions Manager, visiting all U.S. and Canada ports, venues, contracts with hotels, buses, guides always preparing the new seasons and finding new ideas to offer all cruise lines. I was always traveling and Washington DC was one of the shore excursions The White House, The Capitol, the supreme Court, the Jefferson Memorial, Martin Luther King Memorial, Monuments and history related. We arranged lunch or dinner at a famous restaurant.
Washington, DC, offers a blend of historic landmarks and a vibrant culinary scene that reflects its diverse heritage. I have great hotels to offer to you as well as good and reliable professional guides, the best walking tours that may include luch or dinner, restaurants that we have selected tour you.
The National Mall in Washington, D.C., is a world-renowned park that serves as "America’s Front Yard." Spanning from the U.S. Capitol to the Lincoln Memorial, this iconic landscape is a stage for democracy, a place of protest, and a sanctuary for the nation's history and culture.
Walking is essential in this area, while the monuments look close, the Mall is over 2 miles long.
United States Capitol: Situated on Capitol Hill, this Neoclassical landmark houses the legislative branch. Its iconic dome was completed during the Civil War, symbolizing the endurance of the Union.
Washington Monument: This 555-foot marble obelisk honors the first president. Construction was famously interrupted by the Civil War, leaving a visible color change in the stone about a third of the way up.
Lincoln Memorial: Designed like a Greek temple, this memorial to the 16th president has been the site of pivotal moments in civil rights history, including Martin Luther King Jr.’s "I Have a Dream" speech.
I always tale my groups to the Italian restaurant
You can't leave DC without trying The Half-Smoke: The city's signature dish, a larger-than-average sausage that is smoked and often topped with spicy meat chili. Chesapeake Seafood: Proximity to the bay means Blue Crabs (often steamed with Old Bay) and Chesapeake Oysters are staples, especially at the historic Municipal Fish Market.
Soul Food: Reflecting the city's rich African American heritage, staples like fried chicken, collard greens, and sweet potato pie are deeply rooted in neighborhoods like Shaw and U Street.Top Restaurants DC’s dining scene has evolved rapidly, moving from "power steakhouses" to a sophisticated mix of international and farm-to-table excellence.
The White House, built between 1792 and 1800, this has been the official residence and workplace of every U.S. President since John Adams. It stands as a global symbol of the executive branch.
We also have groups that hotels, excursions, different events in all US cities that's why I was always travelling.
Unfortunately the pandemic hit hard the cruise industry and I lost my job and i couldn't work for almost two years.
After that I decided that with my experience I could be a god Travel Advisor doing something that I love and creating an unforgettable experience
