I have been many times around Italy for my short weekends that was a one hour flight from Barcelona.

Italy is celebrated for its profound impact on Western culture, art, and history. Its diverse geography stretches from the snow-capped Alps in the north to the sun-drenched Mediterranean coastlines and volcanic landscapes of the south. Also renowned for its culinary excellence, emphasizing fresh, regional ingredients that have made its food a universal favorite.

Travelling on a cruise I have been several times in Livorno visit Pisa and Florence. The Mediterranean itinerary usually also include Rome and Naples. I love this cruise because you get to see 3 very important cities in 3 days without having to pack!

Florence, Italy, is world-renowned as the cradle of the Renaissance, famous for its unparalleled concentration of art, architecture, and history. Key highlights include Michelangelo’s David, Brunelleschi’s Dome on the Duomo, the  Uffizi Gallery, Tuscan cuisine. The beautiful Ponte Vecchio ithe medieval stone bridge. So much history and so much to see in every corner!

Rome, often called the "Eternal City," is a living museum where over two millennia of history are woven into a vibrant modern capital. From the colossal ruins of the Roman Empire to the opulent masterpieces of the Renaissance, the city offers an unparalleled journey through time, complemented by world-class cuisine and a spirited local culture.

The Roman Forum is a sprawling archaeological site located just steps from the Colosseum that served as the social, political, and commercial center of the Roman Empire. It is home to the ruins of several important government buildings and temples, including the Curia where the Senate met.

Tradition dictates that throwing a coin over your shoulder into the water ensures a return trip to Rome.The fountain is most picturesque at night when it is beautifully illuminated, though it remains crowded at nearly all hours.

It is renowned for its three magnificent fountains, most notably Bernini's Fountain of the Four Rivers.The square is a popular gathering spot filled with street performers, artists, and outdoor café seating. The surrounding streets are known for their narrow, winding cobblestone charm.

Vatican City HighlightsAs an enclave within Rome, Vatican City houses some of the most significant religious and artistic treasures in the world. It is the spiritual heart of the Catholic Church and holds up to 20,000 worshippers.While entry is free, visitors must pass through a security line that can be long; early morning visits are highly recommended.Climbing the dome provides one of the most spectacular panoramic views of Rome. And delicious pizza or pasta is you get hungry, because you have to walk!

Soon a Royal Caribbean offered me a job to work at the Guest Relations Desk on board of a ship out of Miami. During that time I visited all Caribbean islands and took all the shore excursions. I was on board of ships for five years until decided to leave ships and live in Miami.

Once in Miami I worked with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity y and Azamara's Private Journeys worldwide, Private Shore Excursions in any port where guests requested a private arrangement. After that, Intercruises hired me as Americas Shore Excursions Manager, shore excursions in all  U.S. and Canada for all cruise lines.

Unfortunately the pandemic hit hard the cruise industry and I lost my job and didn't work for two years.After that I decided that with my experience I could be a god Travel Advisor doing something that I love and creating unforgettable experiences for my clients.
