Spain, one of the countries of European Union, with 48 million population is organized into 50 provinces, has a lot to offer to visitors in all sectors; rich history, diverse geography, amazing architecture art and great gastronomy. The Kingdom of Spain also includes the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands.
I am originally from Barcelona and as a child I used to spend the summers with my family in Costa Brava im a little village eating the delicious seafood that there is there in the summer.
In Spain tour guides must have a diploma, they are all professionals and I make sure to get the best four you.
I always recommend my clients to spend a couple of days in Costa Brava to enjoy its magic always after staying Barcelona where you can either walk Las Ramblas or take a tour to visit the city and a museum, a lot of history at your site. You must always try the delicious tapas and Paella!
The Cathedral, La Sagrada Familia, Parc Quell, Museum of Modern Art, Picasso Museum, and Montserrat are some of the many places I know very well and you should always visit. And in the evening a Flamenco Show and the Montjuic Fountains are something to remember.
I work with the best hotels of the city and I will make sure to find the one that's adjusted to your needs.
Since I have always worked in the cruise industry, my first job was as in a travel agency having all cruise lines as clients. Cruise ships dock at the Port of Barcelona there are we prepared embarkation and disembarkation of guests, transfers to the airport, to the hotels we worked with for pre and post packages and excursions.
My weekend trips were all around the cities and villages around Spain: Malaga, Granada, Cadiz, Sevilla, Madrid, Santiago de Compostela, La Coruna, Santander, Bilbao and many others. Each city had something diferent, something special, different food, different tapas, something to always remember.
Madrid is the Capital and the largest city of Spain with fascinating history, The Royal Palace, The Prado Museum, famous Puerta de Alcala, and many other, again walking and enjoying some tapas and Spanich Omelette. We have great hotels were you can stay and professional tour guides for a great tour.
From Madrid the same day you can visit Avila and Segovia two of the oldest cities if Spain dating and catholic cathedrals. Avila famous for its Monastery and Segovia for the Gothic Alcazar and the Roman Aqueduct.
Toledo is a historic city, also near Madrid, that has a stunning cathedral. synagogues, musk and medieval walls. Toledo is famous for its ham and its Marzipan.
The south is excellent for tourists with good weather almost year round. To name some I will tell you about Sevilla, Granada and Malaga. Seville famous for its stunning Real Alcazar, massive Gothic Cathedral, La Giralda, a massive bell tower and Triana, a historic neighbourhood known for its ceramics and Flamenco.
Grenada known for ts history and the famous Alhambra, a scrawling palace and fortress with amazing Islamic architecture and the Generalife, the gardens.
Malaga, one of the oldest cities in the world is know for its mild weather with famous beaches. Amazing Cathedral and cultural attractions like the Roman Theater, the Alcazaba Fortress and the Pisasso Museum again mixture of muslim and catholic.
In north of Spain we have the Atlantic Coast, with older weather, one best attractions and famous worldwide is the Cathedral Santiago de Compostela, also with great hotels and excursions that I will help you choose.
I also used to travel to all the European Union cities during long weekends with one hour flight; France, Italy, Germany, The Netherlands, England,
During the summer I spent many hours at the port working as a Manager making sure everything was running smoothly and soon a Royal Caribbean offered me a job to work at the Guest Relations Desk on board of a ship out of Miami. During that time I visited all Caribbean islands and took all the shore excursions. I was on board of ships for five years until decided to leave ships and live in Miami.
Once in Miami I worked with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity y and Azamara's Private Journeys worldwide, Private Shore Excursions in any port where guests requested a private arrangement.
After that Intercruises hired me as Americas Shore Excursions Manager, shore excursions in all U.S. and Canada for all cruise lines: Princes, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Norwegian, Holland America, and all the others.
Also in charge of groups that had pre and post packages: hotels, excursions, different events. I was always travelling and doing something that I loved. Often in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Vancouver, and many others.
Unfortunately the pandemic hit hard the cruise industry and I lost my job and didn't work for two years.
After that I decided that with my experience I could be a god Travel Advisor doing something that I love and creating unforgettable experiences for my clients.
