Before I became a travel advisor, I spent nearly 20 years driving truck across the country. That kind of travel teaches you things a map never can.

I have seen the early morning fog lift over mountain passes, watched the desert change colors at sunset, driven through small towns most people only pass on a highway sign, and learned how different every region of this country really feels once you spend time there.

I grew up in Portland, Oregon, went to college in Bellingham, Washington, and have lived in places as different as Klamath Falls, the Ozarks of Missouri, Albuquerque, Mountain Home AFB, Phoenix, Fort Dix/McGuire AFB, Missoula, Montana, Salt Lake City, and now Prescott, Washington. Those years gave me more than road experience. They gave me perspective.I understand that travel is not just about getting from one place to another. It is about how a destination feels, what pace makes sense, what kind of scenery speaks to you, and what details can make a trip feel smooth instead of stressful.

When I help clients plan vacations, I bring all of that experience with me. I think about routes, timing, comfort, personality, and the kind of memories someone is really hoping to come home with.
