Travel has always been about discovery for me. I love experiencing new cultures, seeing wildlife in its natural environment, and visiting places that feel far removed from everyday life. I have traveled to 6 continents, and Antarctica—the 7th—is next on my list. I plan to experience it expedition-style in the next few years, just as I encourage my clients to explore the world in ways that bring them closer to the destination.

My own travels have shaped the kind of travel agent I have become. I am especially drawn to expedition travel, small-ship cruising, African safaris, wildlife travel and immersive international journeys. I have experienced an African safari firsthand, explored destinations throughout the world, and continue to seek out new places and new ways of traveling.I especially enjoy planning travel to Antarctica, the Arctic, the Galápagos Islands, Alaska, Africa and Asia. I help clients sort through the many choices involved in planning an Antarctica expedition cruise, Galápagos expedition cruise, African safari, Alaska adventure or multi-country journey through Asia. I enjoy researching expedition ships, safari operators, small-group tours and unique experiences to determine which ones best match each traveler.

One of my favorite ways to travel is with a group. I enjoy bringing people together to experience extraordinary places because I find that sharing the excitement and discovery with others can make a great journey even more memorable. I am planning the Galápagos Islands as one of my next major expedition group experiences, and I look forward to introducing more travelers to this remarkable style of travel.

I work with couples, solo travelers, groups of friends and active travelers who are curious about the world. Some of my clients are experienced international travelers, while others are planning their first major bucket-list adventure. I enjoy helping both. I don't believe expedition travel has to mean roughing it; I can help travelers find everything from active small-group adventures to luxury expedition ships and safari lodges.

When I plan a trip, I begin by listening. I want to understand how my client likes to travel, what they hope to experience, their preferred activity and comfort levels, and their budget. I then research and compare the possibilities and help turn what can seem like an overwhelming number of choices into a journey that feels right for them.

I became a travel agent because I genuinely love travel, but what I have discovered is how much I also enjoy helping other people see the world. Whether I am helping someone choose the right expedition cruise for Antarctica or the Galápagos, plan a first African safari, explore Alaska, discover Asia, or organize a group adventure, I want them to come home already thinking about where they want to go next.My goal is simple: keep exploring the world myself and help as many people as I can experience it along the way.
