I took a 7 day safari with G Adventures in Tanzania, home to the great Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.I enjoy going on tours with G Adventures as you also get to see how they are helping the communities that we visit. We went to a Maasai village in the Rift Valley and saw how G Adventures is helping put cook stoves inside their small huts. Without the cookstoves and chimneys the smoke is so heavy inside and it’s hard to breathe. It’s lovely to see how they are helping out.
We saw herds of animals; giraffe, elephants, gazelle, zebras, wildebeests. Many families of lions, a cheetah and her cubs, rhino, hippos, it was an amazing sight to see them all in their natural habitat. One of the parts of the trip that I really enjoyed was going down into Ngorongoro Crater, with so much wildlife and diverse vegetation.
Another wonderful trip.
