About Me

I visited Nashville and Greenville, NC. In addition, I visited Rocky Mount and Nashville, Farmville and Greenville. I Visited the following cities and towns: Wilmington, Ocracoke, Nags Head, Kill Devil Hills, Raleigh, Durham, Washington, Bryson City, Farmville, Newbern, Kitty Hawk, Morehead City, Goldsboro, Greenville, Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Ashville and more. I am expert in North Carolina as I have spent much time there. Let us embark on a journey throughout North Carolina via my many magnificent memories. The state where if you want to have everything on your hamburger, you tell the beautiful server, “I want it all the way.” The foods you must have in North Carolina are North Carolina Barbeque and Chitterlings. Chitlins (or chitterlings) are cleaned, boiled, and sometimes fried pig intestines. North Carolina Barbecue is primarily featuring hickory-smoked meat seasoned with vinegar-based sauces. Most traveling requires an airport. I love RDU, Raleigh Durham Airport and Charlotte Airport where my journey in North Carolina began.  At RDU, he car park is spacious.  Arrive several hours early and eat at many restaurants. Carolina Craft is the one that I frequent at Raleigh International Airport.  The first place I remember visiting is the USS North Carolina Battleship in Wilmington. I salute any member of the armed forces and their spouses and children. You have generously given gigantic and great sacrifices. I am amazed at how huge the ship is yet has very small compartments including the sleeping area. I cannot forget all the beaches in North Carolina. My favorite place is the Oregon Inlet Campground. Reservations are needed during the busy season.  I now remember taking a picture of a double rainbow. The campsites are close to the ocean. The sunsets and the sunrises are spectacular. The campground is always clean. Another one of my favorite places is Nags Head. Kitty Hawk Kites is right across from Jockey Ridge State Park which is my favorite place to fly stunt kites. You can hang glide on the dunes.  One side of the Ridge is the Bay; the other side is the ocean. Flying a kite during sunset is one of my favorite experiences. Speaking of Bays, do you know why seagulls do not fly over the bay. “They do not want to turn into bay gulls. (Bagels.) I apologize; I digress. Now I am thinking of the Durham Bulls baseball game in Durham. I can smell the tasty hot dogs and the peanuts. I do not know what it is, a hot dog or a brat tastes the best at a baseball park. North Carolina is a great place to go whitewater kayaking. In Bryson City, there is the Nantahala Outdoor Center. It is a safe place to kayak as the highest grade is three. I took a left on the river. Around the bend was the most incredible beautiful sight I have ever seen. At the end of the run are the Nantahala Falls. Don’t do what I did on my first trip. I went backwards by accident down the falls. I am remembering another wonderful experience. Taking a ferry to Ocracoke. I was entertained by a group of dolphins at the bow of the ferry and seagulls playing in the air currents created by the ferry’s movement. It is required to camp in the campgrounds and not on the beach. Charlotte is now coming to mind. Close together is The Charlotte Ballet Company and The McColl Center for arts on Tyron Street. You can watch a show at the Ballet Company and take a tour through the McColl Art Center. After the show or the tour, you can walk to Lottie's Café. A wonderful coffee shop. Finally, my family went to Disney.
Reviewed By Pual and Laurel - Chicago, IL | Traveled to Orlando | Florida | USA
My family always wanted to go to Disneyworld in Orlando. It finally happened. We also went to the everglades. I like how Michael thoroughly questioned what we wanted. He wanted to know how we would know that the vacation would be a dream vacation. Michael, you banged it out of the ballpark. Great Job.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Adventure meets city life.
Reviewed By Brian - Bloomington, IL | Traveled to Richmond | Virginia | USA
I was planning to visit my friends near the Richmond area. I was wondering if I could take a little vacation that combined city life with an adventure tour. I noticed Michael lived in Richmond. I gave him a call. He was able to meet city life with adventure with flying colors. I flew into Richmond airport. Got a car rental. Then I went to the Holiday Inn. I the next day I rented a kayak in Richmond at the RVA Paddle Sport Store in Richmond. I drove to the Chickahominy Wildlife Management Area. The view was breath taking. I set up camp on a hill overlooking the river. I caught and released some fish. I drove back to Richmond Holiday Inn. I began the city life portion of my trip. I took in a Richmond Flying Squirrel minor league baseball game and a show at the Altria Theater. I had fine dining at the Lemaire restaurant. I never thought adventure and city life could be combined. Thanks to Michael it was. Who are you going to call for a travel agent. Call Michael Behm

Milwaukee, Wisconsin is a beautiful city.
Reviewed By Valerie and Raymond - Greenville, NC | Traveled to Milwaukee | Wisconsin | USA
For some reason my husband likes the Milwaukee Brewers. For our fortieth wedding anniversary, I wanted to take my husband to see a Brewers game. I was not familiar with Milwaukee. I saw that Michael lived in Illinois. I contacted him. Michael made all the airplane, hotels, and car rental reservations. I asked him for suggestions. He suggested the Safehouse restaurant, and to take in a show at the Riverside Theaters. These were excellent suggestions. The show was great and Safehouse was an experience I have never had before. By the way the Brewers won. My husband thourghouly enjoyed the trip. I get great happiness when my husband is happy. Thank you, Michael.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

A dream vacation to the Outer banks
Reviewed By Irene and Thrall - Chicago, IL | Traveled to Outer Banks | North Carolina | USA
My husband and I have been talking about outer banks for a long time. We kept seeing people wearing shirts that said, “Outer banks”. We finally took the plunge. We noticed Michael lives in North Carolina. So, we picked him. His first message was, “Describe your dream trip to North Carolina. I will do everything I can to make that dream come true,” Let me tell you Michael did just that. He made all the hotel reservations, the flight reservations, and the car rental reservations. He recommended that we fly into Norfolk airport from Chicago. We stayed at the Marriot Hotel. We essentially made a loop through the Outer banks. We visited the Backbay Wildlife refuge for some bird watching and hiking, Then we went to the Wright Memorial Museum. After that, we went to Kitty Hawk kites. We purchased two kites. We went across the street to Jockey Ridge State Park to fly the kites. We also learned how to hang-glide. We went to the Avon fishing pier to do some fishing. We then drove to the south of the outer banks and took the Hatteras Ocracoke ferry and then to Cedar Island. We returned to Norfolk Airport. I highly suggest Michael to be your next travel agent.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Bally’s Evansville, Indiana Cascino and Hotels, a must do if you like casinos.
Reviewed By Karen and Hershey - Lawrence, KS | Traveled to Indiana | USA
My husband and I like to go to the Casinos throughout the United States. I found Michael on the website. I contacted Michael to see if he was aware of any good Casinos in the Midwest. Michael recommended Bally’s Evansville Casino. What a great suggestion. We flew in from Tuscan Arizona. We flew into Evansville Regional Airport. We rented an Enterprise car rental. We stayed at Bally’s hotel. Inside the Casino is Cavanaugh’s Restaurant. The food and customer service was exquisite. We had a wonderful time. All the reservations were made by Michael. I highly recommend Michael as your travel agent.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.
