Growing up behind the Iron Curtain in Communist Czechoslovakia, travel was once only a distant dream. Opportunities to see the world were limited, borders were closed, and curiosity about life beyond them was often fueled by imagination rather than experience. I vividly remember standing outside airline agencies in my native Prague, pressing my nose to the glass, studying posters of faraway destinations and imagining a world I longed to explore. Even then, I sensed that travel was more than movement - it was freedom, perspective, and possibility. That early curiosity planted the seed for what would become a lifelong passion.

Years later, that dream unfolded in ways I could never have predicted. As a professional dancer with an American ballet company for nearly 30 years, I was privileged to travel extensively on international tours across five continents. Each destination offered more than a stage, it offered immersion into culture, history, and human connection. I experienced cities at dawn before rehearsals, historic landmarks after performances, and authentic local life far beyond the typical tourist path. From grand European capitals to lesser-known cultural gems, travel became my greatest teacher.Through these experiences, I learned that meaningful travel is not about checking places off a list, but about understanding the soul of a destination. It is about the stories behind ancient streets, the traditions carried through generations, the flavors, music, architecture, and rhythms that make each place unique. Travel became deeply personal - transformational rather than transactional - and it shaped how I see the world and the people in it.

Today, having visited over 70 countries, I bring this depth of firsthand experience to helping others design journeys that are equally meaningful and unforgettable. The Czech Republic remains my area of deep expertise and personal pride, a country rich in history, culture, architecture, and stories waiting to be discovered beyond Prague’s well-known beauty. Europe as a whole, with its layers of history and elegance, continues to inspire me, while my global travels allow me to curate exceptional experiences across the world. I am motivated by the discovery of beautiful places, hidden gems, and immersive experiences, and by sharing those discoveries with others.
