Kenmare Ireland is an amazing place to visit.  Fantastic food, very friendly people who are always anxious to help.  Kenmare is the perfect base for your trip around the Ring of Kerry or Ring of Berra.  So many Castles to see some still standing and others just skeletons of what they once were.  The stunningly beautiful Black Valley that was the last place in Ireland to receive electricity in 1976.  The sheep ran almost free with multiple herds in the same pastures.  The shepherds tell them apart by the color and shape of paint on their hips.  Priests Leap, a place the locals do not recommend you try to go to but we did.  Locals couldn't believe we drove ourselves, which earned us a beer.  The beautiful awe inspiring churches.  Skellig Islands with their ancient monasteries, scenic drives featuring rugged coastlines, mountains, lakes and villages from long ago.  Guinness Beer, unlike any you get in the United States, Irish Coffee served in wine glasses, eggs on the shelf not in the refrigeration section.  I was lucky enough to spend my 65th birthday in Ireland and it was the trip of a lifetime.  Let me help you plan the trip of your lifetime.
