Hi, I’m Tracy Shorter, Founder and Lead Travel Designer of Shorter Route Travel. I specialize in creating curated, meaningful travel experiences for families, couples, and groups who want more than just a booking—they want memories, connection, and transformation.

I started Shorter Route Travel in 2017 after experiencing some unexpected health challenges that gave me a renewed understanding of just how precious time is. Travel became more than an escape for me—it became a way to live fully, intentionally, and without regret. That philosophy now guides everything I do when designing trips for my clients.

I have a deep passion for group and family travel because I understand the dynamics, logistics, and emotional importance of bringing people together. Some of my favorite destinations include Jamaica, Alaska, Dubai, and Bali—each offering unique experiences, from cultural immersion and natural beauty to adventure, rest, and personal growth. What I love most about the travel industry is the chance to explore the world beyond where I grew up, meet new people, and see life from a bigger, richer perspective. And what I love even more is helping others do the same.

Through Shorter Route Travel, I also mentor a small, intentional group of travel entrepreneurs, helping them build sustainable businesses rooted in service, integrity, and impact. My focus isn’t on mass recruitment—it’s on cultivating meaningful experiences for travelers and thoughtful leaders in the travel industry.
