Having lived in Japan and returned as a traveler, I’ve experienced the country beyond its major sights, from navigating everyday transportation and neighborhoods to experiencing its food, traditions, culture, and remarkable attention to detail.

As a Japan travel advisor, I create customized Japan vacations for travelers who want to experience the country comfortably and at a pace that gives them time to appreciate it. From the energy of Tokyo and the traditions of Kyoto to destinations beyond the most familiar stops, I help clients determine what makes sense for their interests and travel style.

Planning a trip to Japan can feel complicated. Choosing where to stay, understanding transportation and rail options, deciding how many cities to visit, and determining how much time to spend in each place can quickly become overwhelming. I coordinate those details and create an itinerary that makes traveling through Japan easier to navigate.

What makes Japan special isn’t only what you see, it’s how you experience it. It can be staying in a traditional ryokan, enjoying an exceptional meal, visiting historic temples, seeing Mount Fuji, exploring a neighborhood away from the busiest tourist areas, or simply experiencing the thoughtful service and everyday details that make Japan distinctive.

Some travelers want Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Japan’s iconic highlights. Others want cultural experiences, food, smaller destinations, or slower-paced days. Many want a combination of both. I design each itinerary around the individual traveler rather than trying to fit everyone into the same trip.
