Hi! My name is Adam Wyler. I am your luxury Utah travel advisor. I have family who have lived in Utah for over 30 years and I also live in Utah. I love the weather and terrain all over the state. Especially in the ski resort area around Park City. The largest city is also the capital....Salt Lake City. Great Salt Lake is the largest saltwater lake in the Northern Hemisphere. It is the 8th largest land-locked lake in the world and a vital bird habitat. I design amazing trips centered around Utah's national parks...from Zion and Bryce Canyon to Moab and Monument Valley. Whether hiking, biking, rafting, off-road adventures, or scenic road trips, I create experiences tailored to each traveler's pace and interests. In addition to having an NBA and NHL professional sports teams, some very popular things to do in Salt Lake City are to take a guided bus tour that also includes a performance by the Tabernacle Choir. You can also take a day tour to Great Salt Lake and Antelope Island all in a day. The Bonneville Salt Flats are about 3 hours away and you can take a day trip there to walk on the salt beds, explore art installations, and witness land speed record attempts during Speed Week. Snow skiing is the most popular tourist activity in Utah. Utah has 15 different ski resorts! Park City was the home of all the ski events during the 2002 Winter Olympics. And it will be again in 2032. Park City has 2 ski resorts and Salt Lake City has 4. Ogden and Southern Utah have 7 ski resorts too. In 2026 Park City will be hosting the Sundance Film Festival for the final time. This festival started in Park City in 1978! Utah certainly doesn't have the most national parks or even have close to the largest national parks, but 13 million US citizens visited Utah's national parks in 2024. Combine that with 2.8 million international tourists brings a total of 15.8 total national park visitors! The "Mighty 5" national parks in Utah are Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Capitol Reef, and Canyonlands. Another amazing Utah experience is special rail travel provided by Canyon Spirit. And in 2026, they added a new twist for railroad junkies. They now offer service from Denver, Colorado direct to Salt Lake City. This includes an overnight stay in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. You can offer to take this trip out of Salt Lake City to Denver as possibly your final Utah experience! For things to do in other parts of Utah, there are sporting activities on Lake Powell, expoloring red rock landscapes near St George, and they have a Shakespeare Festival every year in Cedar City! I hope you use me as your Utah travel advisor!
