I heard about Tammie from a good friend who had just come back from a wonderful trip to Ireland. This trip was one that had been in the making for years, thinking talking and hoping one day we as a family could go. While looking at tours my sister and brother in law came upon Tammie who specializes in Scotland vacations. We contacted her and it was the best thing we could have done! I would highly recommend Neil and taking a custom tour.We started our trip In Glasgow and took a tour with a company called Scotland’s Wild and it was truly amazing! Our driver was James who was so full of historical information, entertaining, and even had music to set the scenes of our locations while driving. The day was Rainey and overcast but it only enhanced the beauty of the highlands with shades of greens and cloudy mists. next day met our driver Neil to continue onto Paisley to see where our ancestors had lived.Our trip consisted of twelve days of unforgettable tours to Castles , whisky distilleries, making a Scottish traditional dinner with a local woman , one of my favorites which I so highly recommend was dinner and lodging at theDownright Gabbler an experience not to be missed. We visited a working farm, had lunch in a beautiful historic manor and felted with a local artisan while the guys did archery. Tammie created such a wonderful itinerary for us , she booked and selected our hotels, train transportation, tours, etc.! It takes a lot of pressure off especially never having been to Scotland before and allowed us to just enjoy the trip to the fullest.

We always wanted to walk the West Highland Way, and we had the guidebooks and maps – but Tammie’s expertise and guidance made the trip possible. Because she knew the route first-hand, she was able to recommend how much we could confidently walk in a day, what parts were the most challenging, and most importantly - where to stop and stay. Many stops were in remote locations, and she helped us find the right inns and B&Bs to stay at.

The hike was amazing and with her help we booked a car for a self-drive to explore the rest of the country. We saw the sights we wanted, but also got “off the beaten track” and feel like we got to experience the real Scotland.

Our group of 3 Scotch lovers decided to revive our trip to Scotland that had been cancelled previously due to the Covid shutdown. As my one sister is in a wheelchair she worked with a partner who lives in Scotland and was able to book our hotels and make sure we had an accessible room for my sister. He also purchased the Tattoo tickets for us. She researched the accessiblity of the castle, etc., that we hoped to visit.
She booked our airline tickets for us and kept in contact throughout the pandemic and used our vouchers to arrange new airline tickets the covid no travel ban was lifted. She was always willing to answer our numerous questions and put us at ease.

When we first connected, Tammie asked a lot of questions in order to understand our likes and dislikes, then she translated that into a fantastic trip, within our budget, that we would never have been able to design on our own. Tammie did all the bookings for our three-week adventure - flights, accommodations, trains, buses, and excursions. She provided a back-up plan for a small part of the trip, just in case bad weather disrupted travel to one of the islands. She was frequently in touch during planning and booking to get our feedback on different options.

Tammie has been a god send to me and our family. We have had a dream for a number of year to do a siblings trip to Scotland. Both for heritage and sightseeing prposes. One of my siblings has MS and is wheelchair bond. She can do most things for herself at her own pace. We thought that if we could hire a private van and driver in Scotland it would work better for her and we could customize our tour to what we want to see and do.
Tammie has made this happen but we have not had the experience yet because the pandemic halted world travel. We really had no worries moving our trip forward to 2022 as Tammie assisted us with the requirements to do that. She has been so professional, friendly and accommodating. She also made some great suggestions of places we might like to visit. We felt that she was treating us as she would her own family.
She has kept us informed of any and all changes affecting our trip through covid-19 and we continue to feel we are in good hands.

Tammie did a great job planning a trip to Scotland for myself and twelve of my family members. Everything was planned beautifully so that we did not have to worry about anything, every day a new adventure. We traveled from Glasgow up to the Isle of Skye and over to Edinburgh and back to Glasgow for our flight home. We suggested to places we wanted to visit and Tammie was able to put together an itinerary that satisfied everyone in our group that ranged in age from 20 up to 70 years.
