Stonehenge

In 1992 I lived and went to school in London, England for a year as part of an experience that my university was offering. Theatre, art, music and trips outside London also gave me a love for this city and country. Over the years I have returned many times to enjoy this city and explore other areas of England and Wales which help me create unique itineraries and experiences for my clients while using travel partners I have established relationships with to book these custom tailored itineraries. 

Places like the Lake District with its stunning scenery. the charming Cotswold villages where time seems to stand still, historic Viking past in York, the vibrant university towns of Cambridge and Oxford, Shakespearean Stratford-upon-Avon, ancient sites like Stonehenge and Avebury, just to name a few of England's top visitor destinations.  In Wales it is the beautiful Snowdonia National Park and the castles - Four of the most complete are Beaumaris, Caernarfon, Conwy, and Harlech.  Wales has a lot to offer from harbours and hidden coves to market towns and dramatic hill walks.  It is a nature lovers paradise and for star gazers offers some of the darkest skies in the world. Wales heritage trains and railways offer delightful scenic journeys.  

In the past I helped an older couple travel throughout England and Scotland by rail in search of their ancestry in various cities along the way with leisurely stays in certain city hubs and villages as they traced their family history and visited places of historic family importance.  A highlight of their journey was a two day driver guided tour with an ancestry expert who helped research their genealogy ahead of their trip locating churches where grandparents were married and a grand estate where a great grandfather was once the head gardener in England   And as fans of "Downton Abbey" they especially enjoyed a tour at Highclere Castle where filming took place and a two night stay at a lodge on the estate grounds.

I also created a driver guided itinerary for two sisters to select places in Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland on a three week bucket list trip.  They enjoyed visiting the picturesque villages in the Lake District and especially enjoyed a train trip on the Snowdon Mountain Railway which climbs to the summit of Wales's highest mountain, Mount Snowdon, offering views across the sea to Ireland.  As well enjoyed some incredible walks in Snowdonia National Park.
