About Me

Garden of the Gods - Colorado Springs
Garden of the Gods - Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs is, in my opinion, one of the most versatile and rewarding destinations in Southern Colorado for family vacations, luxury travel, and romantic escapes. Located along Colorado’s Front Range—just about an hour south of Denver—this destination combines iconic natural beauty, world-class resorts, and unforgettable attractions that appeal to travelers of all ages and travel styles.

Where to Stay in Colorado Springs

The Broadmoor is truly in a class of its own among luxury resorts in Colorado. For more than a century, it has consistently earned both Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond ratings. Set across 5,000 pristine acres, The Broadmoor offers an unparalleled resort experience with fly fishing, hiking, biking trails, tennis and pickleball courts, championship golf, swimming pools, luxury shopping, and more than 20 restaurants, cafés, and lounges. Whether you’re planning a multigenerational family vacation, a romantic getaway, or a luxury retreat, The Broadmoor delivers excellence at every level.

Cheyenne Mountain Resort is another standout option, ideal for families and couples alike. Highlights include a Pete Dye-designed golf course, a private lake with water sports, five pools (including indoor, outdoor, and adults-only), extensive tennis and pickleball courts, a full-service spa (Alluvia Spa), multiple dining venues, and breathtaking mountain and lake views. Situated on 217 acres, the resort offers easy access to top attractions like Garden of the Gods and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

Things to Do in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs is known for its endless activities and iconic landmarks. Garden of the Gods, one of the most recognizable natural wonders in the United States, features towering red rock formations and abundant wildlife, including deer and elk. It’s a must-see for first-time visitors and returning travelers alike.

History and culture lovers will appreciate tours of the United States Air Force Academy, including its striking chapel with 17 soaring aluminum spires and stunning stained-glass windows. Sports enthusiasts can tour the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center, where elite athletes train at an elevation of over 6,300 feet.

Families will love Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, ranked by USA Today (2025) as the #2 zoo in the United States and #5 in North America. From feeding giraffes to observing grizzly bears, wolves, rhinos, and more, it’s an unforgettable experience for children and adults alike.

For couples and families seeking a truly unique adventure, the Pikes Peak Cog Railway offers a journey to the summit of Pikes Peak at 14,115 feet. As the world’s highest cog railway, it features steep grades, dramatic scenery across multiple ecological zones, and a newly renovated summit visitor center following a $100M upgrade.

Seven Falls, located on The Broadmoor’s property (but open to all visitors), is the only waterfall in Colorado listed on National Geographic’s international waterfalls list. Known as “The Grandest Mile of Scenery in Colorado,” it has captivated travelers since 1883 and remains one of the area’s most romantic and iconic attractions.

Just minutes away, Manitou Springs offers a charming and quirky escape filled with local boutiques, natural mineral springs, and popular attractions like Cave of the Winds and the famous Manitou Incline. Boutique hotels such as the Cliff House provide upscale accommodations, making the town a favorite for weddings, honeymoons, and romantic weekends.

Plan Your Colorado Springs Escape

Whether you’re planning a luxury resort stay, a family-friendly adventure, or a romantic mountain getaway, Colorado Springs offers something for every traveler. I specialize in creating customized travel experiences that match your style, preferences, and expectations—and I’d be delighted to help you plan a Colorado Springs vacation you’ll never forget.

For my first time to Panama I wanted help from someone knowledgeable about the country and Jaury was the perfect fit since she grew up there. She was super responsive to all of my request and if something didn't work for me she would find alternate options. Her advice during my planning process was invaluable and would use her again in a minute. Highly recommend her services.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Panama family vacation
Reviewed By Lisa - Muskego, WI | Traveled to Panama | Central America
I was looking for our family to go to Panama for a spring break getaway as my husband was stationed there a long time ago and always wanted to go back and revisit. I joined a Panama Facebook group and saw a post from Jaurymeth’s husband promoting her as a travel advisor for Panama. Not knowing what to expect, I reached out for tips and suggestions on how to plan my trip. I usually plan my own trips, but not being familiar with this area and seeing the post, I thought what a great thing to talk to someone that specialized in this area in particular. She was amazing and awesome from beginning to end. I would highly recommend her for not only Panama planning, but anything. She had excellent communication, was very through, had excellent suggestions, very trustworthy, looking out for the customers best interests and even helped handle an issue we had with our accommodations while we were there. She even followed up with me when I returned. Hard to find great people like this these days. She treated me like a friend. Highly recommend!!

I found Jaury on the Panama Travel site on Facebook. I was overwhelmed by choices to make for my Panama trip with friends and Jaury was the perfect person to advise me. She even checked in with me during the trip to see how everything was going and followed up when I got home. She was just great and an indispensible resource for me!

The trip that keeps on giving…
Reviewed By Linda - Independence, Mo | Traveled to Kansas City | Missouri | USA
Jaurymeth Wofford helped us plan our annual trip to The Elms Resort in Excelsior Spring, Mo. (Suburb of Kansas City) We originally planned the trip for for 1/23/20026. Durning that time, the weather forecast predicted a sever storm with blizzard conditions and several inches of snow. We asked Jaury to reschedule the trip for the following weekend. Within 20 minutes, it was rescheduled and a new itinerary was sent to our email. Her service was very professional and prompt. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her service again for future trips for friends and family. ?? Linda

What happens in Vegas...
Reviewed By Sophia - Denver | Traveled to Las Vegas | Nevada | USA
I’ve been to Vegas plenty of times, but this trip was the first time I let a travel advisor take over—and honestly, I’m so glad I did. I gave Jaurymeth a list of places I didn’t want to stay, and she surprised me with the Bellagio. Great choice. We spent a few days enjoying the Strip, then did a tour of the Hoover Dam, and she even booked a city tour that pointed out all the cool details I’d never noticed before—from the Bellagio fountains to the chandeliers to how massive the Fremont Street “TV” actually is. Even after all my past trips, I was seriously impressed with how much she put together for my family. It almost made Vegas feel brand new.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.
