About Me

Colorado is home to some of the most luxurious mountain resorts in the country, and as a travel advisor specializing in upscale, family, and ski vacations, I’m often asked which properties truly rise above the rest. While there are many excellent hotels across the state, the following list highlights my personal favorites—the resorts I’ve stayed in, toured, or confidently book for travelers seeking world-class service, high-end amenities, and unforgettable experiences. These are the 4- and 5-star Colorado hotels that consistently deliver exceptional hospitality and curated mountain luxury.

1. Four Seasons Resort & Residences – Vail

The Four Seasons Vail blends alpine elegance with full-service luxury. Located between Vail Village and Lionshead, the resort features heated outdoor pools, lounges, and expansive accommodations up to 1,850 square feet. Guests can enjoy guided mountain tours, fly-fishing, and snowshoeing, while the 13-room spa offers saunas, steam rooms, hot and cold plunges, and serene relaxation spaces. It’s also a premier wedding and event destination in Vail.

2. The Broadmoor – Colorado Springs

A legendary 5-star retreat, The Broadmoor is Southern Colorado’s most iconic luxury resort. Its 25-building campus includes a private lake, championship golf course, tennis and pickleball courts, a lakeside pool, multiple boutiques, and 15 dining venues. The resort offers guided adventures to Seven Falls, Pikes Peak, falconry, fly-fishing, rock climbing, and whitewater rafting. The 12,000-square-foot Estate House is a stunning setting for weddings and celebrations.

3. Madeline Hotel & Residences – Telluride

Telluride’s only Forbes 5-star property, the Madeline Hotel is a ski-in/ski-out oasis in Mountain Village. Named Travel + Leisure’s Best Resort in Colorado for 2025, it offers a rooftop pool with dramatic mountain views, a full-service spa, and exclusive access to the Crest Club. Guests enjoy snowmobiling, sleigh rides, skiing, fly-fishing, and more. This is one of Telluride’s most glamorous and exclusive stays.

4. The Little Nell – Aspen

Aspen’s only Five-Star, Five-Diamond hotel, The Little Nell sits at the base of Aspen Mountain and offers legendary ski-in/ski-out access. Known for its 20,000-bottle wine cellar, elevated dining, and world-class service, this boutique luxury retreat is beloved for its personalized attention, curated mountain experiences, and sophisticated après-ski scene. It is also one of Aspen’s premier venues for high-end weddings.

5. Viceroy – Snowmass

The Viceroy Snowmass is the centerpiece of luxury in Snowmass Village. Guests can enjoy curated culinary outings—such as guided visits to the Aspen Farmer’s Market—and wildlife-focused horseback rides designed to view elk, deer, and fox. Accommodations range from stylish rooms to expansive four-bedroom penthouses with private balconies. The Viceroy blends modern design with unforgettable Colorado adventure.

6. Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch – Beaver Creek

Frequently ranked among the best Ritz-Carlton properties worldwide, this ski-in/ski-out resort exudes rustic elegance with towering stone fireplaces and lodge-style architecture. Guests enjoy nightly s’mores, incredible privacy, and a renowned 21,000-square-foot spa with plunge pools, saunas, Pilates and yoga studios, and a year-round heated pool. Ritz Kids programming makes this an exceptional choice for families seeking luxury and adventure.

7. Park Hyatt Resort & Spa – Beaver Creek

One of my personal favorites, the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek sits steps from the village’s skating rink, seasonal activities, and the base of the slopes. The resort features multiple dining options, an outdoor pool with several hot tubs, and spacious suites with stone fireplaces. It excels at hosting weddings and family gatherings, offering convenient access paired with warm, authentic mountain hospitality.

8. St. Regis Aspen Resort

The St. Regis Aspen is a signature destination for elite travelers. From immediate valet service to personal butlers in most rooms, the experience is designed for effortless luxury. The Remède Spa—named among the best hotel spas in the world—offers steam caves, cold plunges, waterfalls, and a full range of treatments. With multiple restaurants, stylish lounges, and a glamorous pool terrace, the St. Regis delivers top-tier sophistication in the heart of Aspen.

These resorts aren’t ranked; they are simply my top personal selections for the most luxurious accommodations in Colorado. Each offers a unique blend of elevated amenities, exclusive access, and curated experiences that appeal to travelers seeking extraordinary mountain escapes. I would be honored to help you plan your next unforgettable luxury vacation in Colorado.

For my first time to Panama I wanted help from someone knowledgeable about the country and Jaury was the perfect fit since she grew up there. Panama family vacation
Reviewed By Lisa - Muskego, WI | Traveled to Panama | Central America
I was looking for our family to go to Panama for a spring break getaway as my husband was stationed there a long time ago and always wanted to go back and revisit. I joined a Panama Facebook group and saw a post from Jaurymeth’s husband promoting her as a travel advisor for Panama. Not knowing what to expect, I reached out for tips and suggestions on how to plan my trip. I usually plan my own trips, but not being familiar with this area and seeing the post, I thought what a great thing to talk to someone that specialized in this area in particular. She was amazing and awesome from beginning to end. I would highly recommend her for not only Panama planning, but anything. She had excellent communication, was very through, had excellent suggestions, very trustworthy, looking out for the customers best interests and even helped handle an issue we had with our accommodations while we were there. She even followed up with me when I returned. Hard to find great people like this these days. She treated me like a friend. Highly recommend!!

The trip that keeps on giving…
Reviewed By Linda - Independence, Mo | Traveled to Kansas City | Missouri | USA
Jaurymeth Wofford helped us plan our annual trip to The Elms Resort in Excelsior Spring, Mo. (Suburb of Kansas City) We originally planned the trip for for 1/23/20026. Durning that time, the weather forecast predicted a sever storm with blizzard conditions and several inches of snow. We asked Jaury to reschedule the trip for the following weekend. Within 20 minutes, it was rescheduled and a new itinerary was sent to our email. Her service was very professional and prompt. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her service again for future trips for friends and family. ?? Linda

What happens in Vegas...
Reviewed By Sophia - Denver | Traveled to Las Vegas | Nevada | USA
I’ve been to Vegas plenty of times, but this trip was the first time I let a travel advisor take over—and honestly, I’m so glad I did. I gave Jaurymeth a list of places I didn’t want to stay, and she surprised me with the Bellagio. Great choice. We spent a few days enjoying the Strip, then did a tour of the Hoover Dam, and she even booked a city tour that pointed out all the cool details I’d never noticed before—from the Bellagio fountains to the chandeliers to how massive the Fremont Street “TV” actually is. Even after all my past trips, I was seriously impressed with how much she put together for my family. It almost made Vegas feel brand new.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.
