About Me

Patio overlooking Grand Lake
Patio overlooking Grand Lake

Grand Lake, Colorado is one of the state’s true hidden gems—beloved by locals yet far less commercialized than many of Colorado’s world-famous mountain towns. Its quieter profile is part of its charm. What it lacks in crowds, it more than makes up for in scenery, authenticity, and unforgettable experiences. Often referred to as the “Gateway to the Park,” Grand Lake serves as the western entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, making it an exceptional base for outdoor adventure and mountain exploration. As Colorado’s largest and deepest natural lake, Grand Lake offers a breathtaking alpine setting with panoramic peaks reflecting off shimmering blue water.

Whether you're dreaming of a luxury mountain escape, a family-friendly vacation, or a romantic getaway, Grand Lake delivers an experience unlike any other. Its historic downtown feels like stepping back in time—with a charming boardwalk, boutique shops, cozy cafés, local restaurants, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Rooted in pioneer and mining history, the town blends rustic character with modern comforts, offering a perfect balance of authenticity and accessibility.

One of Grand Lake’s biggest appeals is its connection to the water—something many Colorado destinations simply don’t offer. Visitors can enjoy boating, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding against the backdrop of dramatic mountain peaks. The tranquility of the lake paired with the surrounding forest creates a majestic setting for sunrise paddles, sunset cruises, or simply relaxing by the shore. Its proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park adds endless opportunities for hiking, wildlife viewing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and scenic drives.

For accommodations, Grand Lake offers exceptional options for travelers seeking space, privacy, and luxury. Many of the area’s upscale villas and lakefront homes are truly extraordinary. These properties often feature expansive patios, panoramic views, gourmet kitchens, private docks, large entertainment spaces, and beautifully maintained grounds. Some homes can sleep twenty or more guests—perfect for multigenerational family trips, extended stays, destination weddings, or group retreats. Waking up to the sun rising over the mountains and reflecting off the water is a memory guests cherish forever.

As enchanting as Grand Lake is by day, the evenings are equally magical. Visitors can stroll the boardwalk, indulge in homemade sweets, dine at local restaurants, or enjoy sunset views from the shore or the privacy of a lakefront balcony. In springtime—especially May—you may even spot a moose grazing near the water, a rare and unforgettable Colorado experience.

While Grand Lake is not a ski-in/ski-out destination, that’s part of its unique appeal. It’s a beloved retreat for Coloradans who enjoy its peace, beauty, and authenticity. Skiers and snowboarders can easily reach Granby Ranch (about 25 minutes away) or Winter Park Resort (approximately 45 minutes away). For thrill-seekers, snowmobiling in Grand Lake is legendary—offering some of the best terrain in the state.

Grand Lake is a spectacular destination for travelers of all interests. Guests can enjoy fishing, boating, hiking, birdwatching, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, skiing, snowboarding, shopping, picnicking, or simply relaxing in a serene alpine setting. Whether you're planning a luxurious retreat, a romantic escape, a family vacation, or a quiet weekend getaway, Grand Lake offers natural beauty, small-town charm, and adventure in every season.

If you’re ready to experience this incredible corner of Colorado, I would be honored to help you plan a personalized Grand Lake vacation. Whether you want luxury accommodations, outdoor adventure, or peaceful mountain relaxation, I’ll ensure your trip is truly one-of-a-kind.

For my first time to Panama I wanted help from someone knowledgeable about the country and Jaury was the perfect fit since she grew up there. She was super responsive to all of my request and if something didn't work for me she would find alternate options. Her advice during my planning process was invaluable and would use her again in a minute. Highly recommend her services.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Panama family vacation
Reviewed By Lisa - Muskego, WI | Traveled to Panama | Central America
I was looking for our family to go to Panama for a spring break getaway as my husband was stationed there a long time ago and always wanted to go back and revisit. I joined a Panama Facebook group and saw a post from Jaurymeth’s husband promoting her as a travel advisor for Panama. Not knowing what to expect, I reached out for tips and suggestions on how to plan my trip. I usually plan my own trips, but not being familiar with this area and seeing the post, I thought what a great thing to talk to someone that specialized in this area in particular. She was amazing and awesome from beginning to end. I would highly recommend her for not only Panama planning, but anything. She had excellent communication, was very through, had excellent suggestions, very trustworthy, looking out for the customers best interests and even helped handle an issue we had with our accommodations while we were there. She even followed up with me when I returned. Hard to find great people like this these days. She treated me like a friend. Highly recommend!!
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

I found Jaury on the Panama Travel site on Facebook. I was overwhelmed by choices to make for my Panama trip with friends and Jaury was the perfect person to advise me. She even checked in with me during the trip to see how everything was going and followed up when I got home. She was just great and an indispensible resource for me!

The trip that keeps on giving…
Reviewed By Linda - Independence, Mo | Traveled to Kansas City | Missouri | USA
Jaurymeth Wofford helped us plan our annual trip to The Elms Resort in Excelsior Spring, Mo. (Suburb of Kansas City) We originally planned the trip for for 1/23/20026. Durning that time, the weather forecast predicted a sever storm with blizzard conditions and several inches of snow. We asked Jaury to reschedule the trip for the following weekend. Within 20 minutes, it was rescheduled and a new itinerary was sent to our email. Her service was very professional and prompt. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her service again for future trips for friends and family. ?? Linda

What happens in Vegas...
Reviewed By Sophia - Denver | Traveled to Las Vegas | Nevada | USA
I’ve been to Vegas plenty of times, but this trip was the first time I let a travel advisor take over—and honestly, I’m so glad I did. I gave Jaurymeth a list of places I didn’t want to stay, and she surprised me with the Bellagio. Great choice. We spent a few days enjoying the Strip, then did a tour of the Hoover Dam, and she even booked a city tour that pointed out all the cool details I’d never noticed before—from the Bellagio fountains to the chandeliers to how massive the Fremont Street “TV” actually is. Even after all my past trips, I was seriously impressed with how much she put together for my family. It almost made Vegas feel brand new.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.
