I’m new to the travel industry, but not new to travel itself or planning trips for both myself and others. I’ve done over a dozen cruises around the world, and I'm also a regular visitor to Central Florida, especially Disney World. I’m all about doing the planning and prep before the trip, so the travel experience itself goes as smoothly as possible. 

Cruises are one of the best ways to travel and see the world. You get to visit amazing places while having your lodging come with you, making it one of the easiest ways to travel. Sometimes, the ship itself becomes the destination. You can enjoy great dining, entertainment, and relaxation that modern ships offer. A cruise vacation also involves pre- and post-cruise planning. This could range from something simple, like arranging lodging the night before your cruise, to a more complex itinerary where the cruise is just one part of a multi-destination journey. 

Travel is something that should be enjoyed at any age, and for those of us over 50, it brings unique opportunities and challenges. There's no “one-size-fits-all” traveler in this age group, so understanding the individual’s preferences, capabilities, and interests is key. I’ve been navigating this balance for a while now. 

As a Disney fan, I can say that some of the best experiences are beyond the parks. Disney Cruise Line is top-notch, Aulani in Hawaii is a fantastic resort, and Adventures by Disney offers incredible experiences around the world.
