Family Vacation Specialist

My name is Christine Burch and while I am new to the travel advisor business, I am not new to traveling with a family. I have four children and a passion for travel, so over the years I have become adept at planning vacations that account for the needs and wants of everyone in the family, including Mom and Dad. All of it while trying to stay within a budget and make sure I did not forget the kids swimsuits! We have traveled to a number of destinations over the years including several trips to Florida (not all of which were to visit the big mouse in Orlando), an Alaskan cruise, and a number of shorter vacations to places like Illinois, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Coming up is a  combo Disney/ Universal trip, a Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas, and a two week Costa Rican adventure. I am looking forward to using my past and future travel experiences to help your family plan your own excellent adventures.

But my experiences as a parent are not what motivated me to become a travel advisor, nor were the perks (although that's nothing to sneeze at); I am passionate about travel and what travel gives to families. Vacation memories are priceless and your kids will talk about them for years to come. But vacations take time to plan and come with a price tag. Wouldn't it be magical if we all could travel where we wanted and how we wanted, staying in all the luxury hotels and not worrying about how much the drinks package is going to cost or how much Disney admission is? Magic, however, can be made even when you have a budget and I want to help your family have an exceptional vacation.

In addition, I love to research. It's ingrained in me. I have a Master's degree in European History and that was years of research. I spend hours researching and reading about traveling and I always have an eye out for how it fits into my family. While two of my kids are grown and flown, I still have a 12 and 13 year old at home and so any travels at this stage have to incorporate them and their interests as well. Although, I admit to owning a long list of adventures for when they have left home. When it comes to travel, my research skills means I will leave no stone turn unturned to find the right vacation and experiences for your family.
