My name is Holly Ryan and I have a passion for travel! I grew up in Lebanon, Kentucky where I went to school to become a registered nurse. I have been in many areas of nursing for the last 30 years. About the same time I finished school I met and married Kenneth and we have been adventuring together ever since. We have lived and worked in 6 different states and during that time we had 3 children; 2 sons and 1 daughter. Recently, we have added Grandparents as a new title. With the family growing and retirement ahead I feel it is time to start a new chapter and travel is something I love and want to share with others.

My experience as a registered nurse has given me exceptional customer service experience and organizational skills. I love learning about companies and travel brands which is helping me grow as a Travel Agent. Adding that to my love of travel and personal travel experience, I’m confident I can help plan and organize personalized vacations for my clients.

I caught the “travel bug” after my family hosted an exchange student from Belgium and I had the opportunity to visit him for 6 weeks in the summer of 1985! This experience really opened my eyes to Europe and my quest to see new places and cultures really ignited. I have been hooked on traveling to different countries and experiencing different cultures ever since! 

Since then I have been to 23 countries and 28 of the 50 states.  Some of my favorites are Italy, Spain, Caribbean and Tahiti.  I also fell in love with Hawaii and National Parks like Zion, Bryce, Canyonlands, Arches and Capital Reef.  I love road tripping as well as cruising.  I have cruised on Princess and Norwegian and I am currently working on earning my educational badges with these brands so I will have a thorough knowledge to share with clients.  I love matching the perfect cruise to the client.

I am excited to partner with Dreams to Destinations as I begin this new adventure as a travel agent. Working with an established travel agency allows me to combine my love of travel, adventure and exploring the world with a company that will provide the knowledge, support and experience needed as I start on this journey.
