About Me

Juneau, Alaska - 2023
Juneau, Alaska - 2023

Hi, I’m Stephanie Brock, owner of Brock’s World, and I’m so glad you’re here.

Travel has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a military family, which meant I had the chance to live in and explore places around the world from a young age. I learned to ski in the Alps, ate pommes frites wrapped in newspaper on the cobblestone streets of Mons, and even learned to drive on the opposite side of the road while living in Okinawa.

Those moments stuck with me. They helped shape who I am and how I see the world.

For me, travel has never been just about checking places off a list. It’s about the stories, the food, the history, the people, and those little details that make a trip feel personal.

My very first cruise to Alaska is what really changed everything. Seeing the glaciers, watching bald eagles soar overhead, and feeling that peaceful rhythm of being on the water made me fall in love with cruising in a whole new way. That trip eventually led me to become a travel advisor, because I wanted to help others experience those same kinds of “I’ll never forget this” moments.

Today, I help people plan meaningful travel experiences, from cruises and Caribbean getaways to cultural journeys through Europe and group trips designed around connection, curiosity, and shared memories.

What makes Brock’s World different is the personal touch. I take the time to learn how you like to travel, what matters most to you, and what you want the trip to feel like. Then I help turn those ideas into a well-planned experience, with the details handled along the way.

Because the best trips aren’t always the flashiest ones.

Sometimes they’re the ones with the best stories.

Why I Love This Work

One of my favorite parts of being a travel advisor is that I get to keep learning, too. Every client brings a new idea, destination, or travel style for me to explore. As I research options, activities, history, food, and the little details that make a place interesting, my clients get a trip planned with care — and I get to discover something new along the way. It really is a win-win, and it’s one of the reasons I enjoy this work so much.

The Alaska Cruise That Changed My Mind

My very first cruise was to Alaska in 2023 on Norwegian Bliss, and I’ll be honest — before that trip, I thought cruising was mostly something “older people” did. I was wrong. Very wrong. John and I took the cruise for my birthday, and since my parents live outside of Seattle, we were able to visit with them before and after the tri...
