I help travelers plan Alaska cruises and Denali vacations that feel scenic, organized, and memorable from start to finish.
Alaska is one of my favorite destinations to plan because the details matter. The cruise line, ship, itinerary direction, glacier-viewing route, ports, land package, rail options, hotels, transfers, and flight schedule can all shape the experience. I help clients compare those choices so they understand the difference between simply booking an Alaska cruise and planning the right Alaska vacation.

Girlfriend's trip to Seattle

Not knowing if a travel agency would arrange a short trip, we were delighted when David and Barbara agreed to arrange our Seattle trip. We took the Amtrak from Eugene, OR to Seattle, WA. Our goal was to see a few sites and just meander about the market place. We stayed at Inn at Market, which did not disappoint. It was suggested that we purchase The City Pass and chose the Elliot Bay Harbor cruise, the Chihuli glass museum and the Space needle. We did this all in one day, were early in arriving and was able to change our times, everyone was so helpful and friendly!! On our second day, we decided to take to ferry to Bainbridge; it was a beautiful, relaxing day!! Our visit was short but satisfied all we wanted.
David went above and beyond to assist us in so many ways. We are not technology savvy and struggled with so many issues but with just an email or phone call everything was taken care of and went smoothly.
We were unaware that there were so many hills in Seattle and my friends' knees prevented us from climbing stairs; with pleasant assistance from locals, we found elevators to take us to the waterfront and other places.
This was an adventure that created memories to last a lifetime and I will definitely consult David and Barbara in the future. There is no trip too small that they can't help with.

Ironmill Travel Made Our Trip Fabulous

Davids attention to every detail for our Princess Mediterranean cruise provided us a frictionless trip. Our hotels and transfers were taken care of ahead of time, and that created such a relaxing trip without wondering where to stay and how to get around in a foreign country. His suggestions for restaurants for dining on the cruise also allowed us to focus on relaxing, without worrying about where to eat. He made sure our excursions were scheduled and provided multiple options at each stop. Everything just seemed like we were treated as first class. Using David saved us many hours of research, and I would definitely use him again and would recommend him to anyone planning a trip.

Thoughtful Service Beyond Expectations
My wife and I were preparing for our first-ever Alaskan cruise, which included airfare and a cruise through the Inside Passage. As first-time cruisers, we weren’t sure what to expect, but Ironmill Travel took care of every last detail and made the entire experience effortless.
In a lighthearted moment, I mentioned to David Milliron that my wife was bringing a third suitcase and we might be facing extra airline fees. That’s when David thanked me for my military service and suggested I show my DD-214. Sure enough, when I showed it to the ticketing agent, the extra baggage fees were waived.
