I’m Elviria, (pronounced El-vee-dee-uh) founder of Kintsugi Traveler, and I specialize in crafting intentional, healing, and soulful travel experiences for individuals, partnerships, and groups who crave more than just a break — they crave purpose.With over 20 years of global travel experience — from the jungles of Costa Rica to temples in Bali, castles in Ireland, migrations in Tanzania, and ocean side retreats across the Caribbean — I’ve seen how transformative travel can be when it’s thoughtfully matched to who you are and what you need most in that moment of your life. But what truly sets me apart as a travel consultant isn’t just the destinations I’ve explored — it’s the lens through which I travel and plan for others.

I’ve lived most of my professional life in high-pressure corporate leadership roles, serving in Director and VP-level learning and development roles where burnout became the norm. Paired with my own physical limitations and varied health challenges, I quickly realized that traditional “vacation packages” and hustle-fueled bucket lists didn’t serve me — or many of the people I care about. Out of this tension, the Kintsugi Traveler philosophy was born. Rooted in the Japanese art of kintsugi, which means “to join with gold,” I believe our cracks — our health struggles, our burnout, our heartbreaks — can be the very thing that leads us to our most powerful transformations. And travel, when done intentionally, can be part of that healing process.
