Destinations by Debra was started in 2015 as a way to help others see the world. As a Certified Travel Agent and Owner of Destinations by Debra, LLC, I love helping clients plan their dream vacations and honeymoons. From All-Inclusive Resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico, to Ocean and River Cruises, to totally customized tours in Europe, Asia, and Australia, Destinations by Debra is your full-service travel agency. 

Travel planning is so much more than a job to me, it is something I love!! Anyone can book trips, but I sincerely care about my clients and want them to have great vacation experiences. Time and resources are far too valuable to settle for a vacation that isn't well planned and fabulous! My job as a professional travel consultant involves extensive time and research to find the best possible vacation within my client’s price point. I use my time, knowledge and experience to plan wonderful vacations for my clients. Many of my clients have become wonderful friends!

I often hear people say, “Oh I just do everything myself online”. Unfortunately, everything is not always as it seems to be online! Creative photography can make a so-so resort look fantastic! And that person you speak with when you call an 800 number, may have never seen the resort you are calling about, and you most likely will not speak with the same person the next time you call!

Luckily for me, my husband shares my love of travel! We have been fortunate to travel to many new destinations as often as every month. I regularly visit resorts and destinations and have on-site contacts at most hotels and resorts, so I feel I have a definite advantage in helping my clients make a good selection for their vacation. I am affiliated with a nationwide network of travel agents, so there is always an expert I can contact if I am not familiar with a resort or destination. I regularly complete training to stay current on all destinations.

As I design your trip I take the time to get to know your preferences and priorities so your trip feels like it is uniquely yours. I have visited most destinations that I plan and I’ve spent years learning the ins and outs, from hidden gems to great travel tips. Well planned flights, hotels in the best locations, priority transfers, the right travel insurance, strong relationships with trustworthy top suppliers all contribute to a truly seamless vacation.Clients can be as actively involved in the planning process as they would like, but they have me as their personal advocate to to organize all details for a memorable experience

A few additional things to consider:  

    - Clients will never have to deal with an automated phone system, speak to an anonymous person, or sit on hold for long periods of time. When clients call me, they will speak only with me!

    - My goal is to provide clients with personalized, honest and fair service, and to plan an amazing vacation!

    - Sometimes even a perfectly planned vacation hits a snag. I will assist in resolving any issues. I am able to provide clients with the most current travel protocol for their destination.

I am currently in the top 1% of producing travel agents with KHM Travel Group.  My business is built on referrals from my clients.  I take a very personalized approach to travel planning and treat each client's vacation as I would my own travel.  I travel often so I can always stay current on top travel destinations.

I am a former high school teacher and college instructor. I hold a Master’s Degree and many travel certifications. I love to travel the world and enjoy every phase of travel; planning, packing, the actual travel, and the memories created! When I am not working on planning the perfect vacation I enjoy spending time with family and friends.  I am blessed to have good health, a loving and supportive family, and a wonderful group of friends. I am so fortunate to have found a second career doing something I enjoy! In my daily life I strive to be the kindest and best person that I can be, and to find joy in each day!
