Spain is one of those destinations where you can truly feel the deep-rooted culture and raw history. If you are a lover of meat and cheese you are bound to love the cuisine of Spain. Paired with bold red wine and overlooking the mountains, hundreds of olive trees or the coastline along the south, you are bound to feel a glorious sense of relaxation. Spain has so much to offer from the warm Canary Island sun to the temperate breezy north coast. As an avid traveler, Spain is one on my favorite places to be. There is so much history to be seen and learned about Spain. If you desire to take things at a slower pace, then Spain is for you. The afternoon siesta is widely celebrated throughout the country, especially in the smaller cities. During that time, you can relax in your hotel room or villa or have a drink at a local bar without worrying that you are missing anything. For those who love to be out and about there is much for you too! After the afternoon siesta, people are ready to have a late night out enjoying time with friends. Seeing every corner of Spain feels like a dream that you never want to wake up from. After living in Segovia for 4 months I got to know the area very well as well as customs within the country.
