When I was a little girl, my father used to take my siblings and myself on different vacations to different places. Those are the memories he cherished and those are the memories that stand out in my childhood. My name is Heather Vaughn and I love the opportunity to help other people retain these memories for their families as well. I decided to begin this adventure in memory of my father and because I already enjoy doing it up to 8 times annually (as we do birthday trips; not birthday parties). I have a blended family with 6 kids. With this diverse family, we have a lot of different types of travelers and I am confident in catering to all.
Birthday Trips
We decide to celebrate each member of our 8 person family by going to a destination of their choice. We have done simple day trips to different amusement parks, camping trips on the lake for fishing, festivals, professional sports games, and a historical weekend trip. I am about making the most out of each trip. I search for the food for the family to satisfy everyone, I look for different events happening in the area and fun adventures nearby, plan an itinerary, and book our stay. As you can imagine, doing this 6 times a year for a minimum of an 8 person group has its challenges, but it is another day in paradise for me. Challenge oriented, I make sure every individual person's experience is memorable.
