Our National Games - These are some of the oldest and fastest games in the world! Gaelic Football, Hurling, Camogie and Handball are amateur games played with professional dedication and true Irish spirit. Golf - A golfer's paradise with 494 golf courses to choose from! 

Surf - unless you are an avid surfer you may not associate Ireland with surfing. From Waterford on the east coast to Big Wave surfing on the west that can match the waves of Hawaii and The Mavericks in San Francisco. Where else would you be walking through a cow field with a surf board!! If you're lucky the farmer will invite you in for a 'cuppa tae' as they say!

Movies - Ireland has been the setting for many movies such as The Quiet Man, Braveheart, Star Wars, Saving Private Ryan, and Game of Thrones. Before your trip check out these and more Irish movies such as The Commitments, The Wind That Shakes the Barley, My Left Foot, Once and Intermission.
