About Me

Adventure, Solo, and Custom Travel Specialist

I don’t just plan travel - I live it.

I’m an adventure-driven, wellness-minded traveler who believes life is meant to be experienced fully, not just scheduled. For more than three decades, I’ve been designing custom journeys, both for myself and others, that go far beyond the typical itinerary. The kind of travel that challenges you, restores you, and stays with you long after you return home.

My background blends precision and passion. I’ve booked over 2,000 nights of travel throughout my career, navigating everything from complex business logistics to deeply personal, once-in-a-lifetime adventures. But what truly defines my approach isn’t just experience - it’s perspective.

I’ve trekked in some of the most demanding environments on earth, including Mount Kilimanjaro and reaching Everest Base Camp. I understand what it means to push beyond your limits - and just as importantly, how to build in the right balance of comfort, recovery, and intention along the way. Adventure doesn’t have to mean sacrifice - it should feel expansive, not exhausting.

As a solo female traveler, I also bring a level of insight that many overlook. I understand the realities, both the challenges and the incredible freedom, of navigating the world on your own. I know where the industry is evolving, where it still falls short, and how to design experiences that feel both empowering and seamless.

Over the years, I’ve curated everything from quick escapes to month-long immersive journeys, family travel, cultural explorations, and high-impact adventure experiences across the U.S., Central America, Asia, and Africa. And through it all, one thing remains constant:

Travel, when done right, transforms you.

That’s why I do what I do.

I help take the stress out of planning and replace it with clarity, intention, and excitement, so you can step into an experience that truly aligns with who you are and how you want to feel.

Because at Travel is Life, we don’t just book journeys...

We live them.

Memorable Trips

Canadian Rockies 2025
Canadian Rockies 2025

My expertise is built from real-world adventure. I’ve backpacked the Grand Canyon, rafted the Green and Colorado Rivers, and explored Glacier National Park on foot and horseback. I’ve zip lined, kayaked, and trekked through Costa Rica, and pushed my limits trekking Mt. Kilimanjaro and to Everest Base Camp.

My travels span safari in Tanzania, hang-gliding in the Outer Banks, a WWII journey through Poland and Germany, and extended time in Europe - including the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

These experiences shape how I design travel: immersive, intentional, and grounded in firsthand knowledge.

Amazing European Vacation
Reviewed By robersonlv - Alexandria, VA | Traveled to Europe
Viki is the total package as a tour advisor. My son and I took at 30 day trip of Europe, visiting 6 countries. Viki provided excellent guidance from the early planning stages through what to do to prepare and pack for the trip, which included varied temps, to written information on airports, train stations, transfers, planned excursions and places to see that were not on our itinerary. She patiently answered all my inquiries, understanding that my son had interests that differed from mine, and was available during the trip for questions. I cannot say enough about Viki's ability to listen, ask questions, and provide guidance. Our trip was perfect.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Downtown Toronto Ladies Weekend
Reviewed By Teresa - Columbia City, IN | Traveled to Toronto | Ontario | Canada
Victoria planned a ladies’ weekend in Toronto. She consulted me on the important aspects of the trip, such as mode of travel, expectations for lodging, and activity interests. From there, Victoria made all arrangements and provided me with the itinerary and necessary details. The weekend included just the right mix of activities to become familiar with downtown Toronto, while not being “too busy.” The CN Tower lunch reservations were a nice way to get a perspective of the city while also enjoying a delicious meal. The Westin Harbour Castle hotel with its Toronto Harbour location and our Harbour view room, were unexpected delights. Victoria provided details for all transportation options, so it was easy to decide when it was more advantageous to walk, use the local transit service, or grab a Lyft. Victoria is very detail-oriented and researched everything we needed in advance, making for a smooth and successful trip. This was appreciated given how short on time we were.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Canadian Rockies Exploration
Reviewed By Teresa - Columbia City, Indiana | Traveled to Jasper | Alberta | Canada
Victoria put together an amazing trip to the Canadian Rockies for me. Because I don’t fly, she had secured passage for me in a sleeper cabin on Rail Canada. This was definitely a great way to enjoy my own space, good food and entertainment, and amazing countryside views. She also found plenty of activities that were compatible with my specific physical and medical needs. With her careful planning and organization, I was able to explore the areas in and around Jasper, Canmore, and Banff. I saw amazing waterfalls, wildlife, and glaciers doing short hikes and scenic boat rides. The glacial fed lakes with different hues of blue and turquoise were incredible. I got to soak in mineral rich hot springs and walk on a glacier. Victoria really made everything possible. Victoria found quaint accommodations in Jasper that had everything I needed and more. In Canmore, she secured a home rental so I could spread out while also minimizing my outside dining. When I got sick and couldn’t make it to one of my reserved activities, Victoria was quick to handle the cancellation on my behalf. This experience reinforced the importance and value of that travel insurance policy. Victoria prepared detailed and well-organized travel documents and an itinerary, so I knew when to be where. Having a trusted travel advisor to handle the details makes all the difference.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

    Everest Base Camp

    Hiking Everest Base Camp

I embarked on the challenge of a lifetime to commemorate a milestone birthday and forged new friendships secured by shared experience. I joined a fearless group of nine women, all previously unknown to me, on an 11-day trek of more than 100 miles up from Lukla at around 5,900 feet to Everest Base Camp, at an altitude of nearly 18,000 feet. In al...

    Multi-Sport Adventure in Costa Rica

Costa Rica didn’t just raise my definition of adventure, it completely rewrote it. I joined a multi-sport journey expecting zip lines and wildlife, but what I experienced was something far richer: joy, connection, and the kind of laughter that sneaks up on you and stays. I arrived early, easing into San José on my own, wandering th...

    River Rafting in Utah

Not every adventure goes according to plan, but sometimes, that’s exactly where the story begins. I had my heart set on rafting Idaho’s Salmon River. When the trip was canceled, I was offered an alternative: the confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers, deep in Canyonlands National Park. Not what I envisioned… but I said yes any...

    Glacier National Park

I didn’t just take a trip to Glacier National Park—I stretched it, deepened it, and let it change me. What was meant to be a six-day Sierra Club hike turned into ten days of immersion. I arrived early, laced up my boots, and stepped into two days of pre-hiking with our trip leader, just a small group of us easing into the rhythm of the wi...

    WWII History Tour

Some journeys aren’t about escape, they’re about understanding. I’ve always been drawn to history… not just the facts, but the human stories behind them. The kind that shape how we see the world, even if we don’t realize it. So when the opportunity came to travel through Poland and Germany on a WWII historical journey, it didn’t feel like...
